The Ottoman pansiyon — Hotel in Fatih

Owner is very helpful and calm guy. Does not speak english fluently but just enough to give understandable explanations and details. Apartment is very neat and clean and not overstuffed. Position of app is maybe in an area where you do not want to walk alone in the night time. Street from which you enter hotel is non-stop blocked by cars during daytime, and overcrowded by locals doing some kind of business. Car horns are frequently used. Considering just stated, apparently is extremely quiet and almost none of these noises can be heard. Tram is 5 min away (Beyazid(t) square) and from there you can reach all parts of Istanbul by combination of public transport. You can buy "stanbul cart" on most of tram stations (10 lira= 1euro), follow procedure to activate it and then top-up whenever needed. For 3 day stay, 30 lira topup...

Terrible experience. I booked this hotel because of the good reviews, I was looking forward to staying here, the rooms looked nice in the pictures.

On arrival I was told that the single room I had booked was unusable because the shower was broken, so I would be upgraded to a double room for a fee. If this is true, I think they should contact me in advance, even by message. I was told they would offer a double room at a lower price than usual, but I didn't ask for it in the first place, and besides, the price for a double room I see on Booking.com was cheaper.

Готель перевершив усі очікування! По перше опис і фото повністю відповідають дійсності, що буває вкрай рідко. Свіжий якісний ремонт, чистота, щодня прибирали в номері, простора кімната є усі зручності. Ліжко дуже зручне, постіль та рушники білі, як сніг. Якісна сантехніка, гаряча вода, усе справне. Готель має прекрасне розташування, дуже зручно добиратися до транспорту та історичних пам'яток, 15 хвилин пішки до центральної площі Султанахмет. Персонал дуже привітний, допомагали в усьому. Особлива подяка Байкалу,Мехмету та Гюльбахар за їх гостинність та чудове ставлення. Перебування в цьому готеля зробило мою подорож у Стамбулі прекрасною. Найкращі рекомендації!

Otel tüm beklentileri aştı! İlk başta, açıklama ve fotoğraflar tamamen doğrudur, ki bu. Taze kaliteli yenileme, temizlik, günlük oda temizliği, tüm olanaklara sahip geniş oda. Yatak çok rahat, havlular kar gibi beyaz. Kaliteli sıhhi tesisat, sıcak su, her şey çalışıyor. Otel harika bir konuma sahiptir, ulaşım ve tarihi yerlere çok kolay erişim, merkezi Sultanahmet Meydanı'na 15 dakikalık yürüme mesafesindedir. Personel çok güler yüzlü, her konuda yardımcı oluyor. Bayram bey, Mehmet bey ve Gülbahar hanım misafirperverlikleri ve mükemmel tavırları için özel teşekkürler. Bu otelde kalmak, İstanbul gezimi harika yaptı. En iyi tavsiyeler! Çok teşekkür ederim! The hotel exceeded all expectations! At first, the description and photos are completely true, which is extremely rare. Fresh quality renovation, cleanliness, daily room cleaning, spacious room with all amenities. The bed is very comfortable, the bed and towels are white as snow. Quality plumbing, hot water, everything is working. The hotel has a great location, very easy access to transport and historical sites, a 15-minute walk to the central Sultanahmet Square. The staff is very friendly, helped in everything. Special thanks to Bayram, Mehmet and Gulbahar for their hospitality and excellent attitude. Staying at this hotel made my trip to Istanbul wonderful.
