My wife, son and my son’s girlfriend stayed at the Hotel Unique for 3 nights at the end of June. The hotel is one Street back from the sea but as it’s built into the hill, it has amazing views over the Marina and Fethiye. The main bazar in Fethiye is a short, 5 minute walk from the hotel.|From the moment we arrived the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, explaining the facilities and showing us to our rooms. I had booked an “Executive Suite” for my wife and I, and a normal room for my son and his girlfriend. As there was a slight delay with our suite being prepared, my son and his girlfriend were shown to their room while we waited in reception (with a continuous supply of bottles of ice cold water - in fact, we found that during our stay each time we came back from a trip out in the heat, we were presented with water). My son returned shortly after looking a bit sheepish saying he thought they had been given the wrong room - our room! The receptionist explained that they hadn’t but had been given a free upgrade to the “loft suite” - I wish I had taken a phot of their faces - they were both delighted as the suite was absolutely stunning (I actually think it would be my first choice if/when I return to hotel).|The Executive suite that my wife and I stayed in was also very nice with two balconies - one with stunning views overlooking the marina at the front and the other at the side with views over the pool and sea. I thought both the rooms, and all of the hotel in general, were very well presented, stylish fitting in with the architecture of the building - clearly designed with some thought and by someone with an eye for detail! |Shortly after being let into the room we received a call to advise us that as we had to wait for our room (all of 20 minutes!) a complimentary bottle of champagne and basket of fruit was being sent to the room - a very nice gesture that was unexpected and very much appreciated - pre-dinner champagne on the balcony for the 4 of us!. |We had dinner at the hotel on one of the three nights, which we found to be very good, both in terms of the food, and service. I also thought it was good value for what we had. We would have had dinner again during our stay but as I like to get out and about, I had already made reservations elsewhere. The breakfast was also very good, serving a Turkish (with a choice of eggs) or an English breakfast. Whilst the English breakfast was good, I’d have to say that the Turkish breakfast was by far the best - an abundance of breads, cheeses, honey, jams, salads - a real struggle to finish.|All in all, a fantastic stay at the Hotel Unique - I wouldn’t hesitate recommending the hotel to friends and would love to return at some point in the future - maybe next year.|Finally, a special thank you to Alina who went out of her way to help me when booking the hotel. When confused about the layout of the hotel and the locations of the rooms Alina actaully walked round the hotel taking several videos and sent me them via WhatsApp! - çok teşekkür...
Read moreWe absolutely loved this Hotel. It was perfect. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Always someone at reception to welcome you and deal with any queries. They also offered us a complimentary valet service which was very helpful as the parking isn't the best. The breakfast staff were super friendly and hospitable and did a fantastic job.
The location was great, we hired a car and also used the beam scooters when we didn't want to walk. 5/10 min walk to the shops and restaurants, also there are 2 little market shops just outside the hotel. 20 mins drive from Oludeniz, 15 mins drive to Calis bleach
The food in the restaurant was amazing, and the breakfast was delicious. You could choose from a English breakfast (bacon, eggs, beans, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast) or Turkish breakfast (jam, marmalade, chocolate spread, olives, cheese, fruit, pastries, bread, dried fruit, omelette, tomatoes, cucumber) see photos included.
The hotel decor was beautiful, and we were obsessed with the smell of the hotel we ended up buying the same diffusers as we both mentioned how amazing it smelt every 5 mins. The rooms were spacious, the bed was super comfy, very clean, plenty of storage options, a mini bar and the bathroom was lovely too with a great shower.
The pool area was lovely, it was super quiet as it was out of season, the sun loungers were super comfy and the pool towels were a nice touch too. Great view of the marina from the pool and restaurant area. You can also visit the other hotel to use the pool/ spa.
Just a little side note on the cats, there's not too many which was nice compared to the rest of the area and the ones at the hotel are very clean and friendly and love a bit of attention. I'm not a cat person myself but absolutely loved seeing them every morning on the way to breakfast and when we were relaxing...
Read moreThis is our honeymoon in Turkey. We have checked out our last hotel very early just for having a good rest in this new hotel in Fethiye, because we have paragliding pick-up at 2:00PM. We arrived at hotel unique at 12:05PM, and our room is not ready. BUT, it took us actually more than 1 hours to get the room. We just got the room for 10min and the paragliding pick-up shuttle came, so we have no time to rest. The reception gave us a reason is that they need to arrange something for our honeymoon room. Well I think it is reasonable and we can understand. BUT, when we entered the room, we saw it just some flower petals and leaves on our bed, and some fruits and wine. We appreciated everything that they have done for us but does it really take more than 1 hour to arrange?? Some guests who came after us they got their room all in 5-10 minutes. The second, the water came from the shower nozzle is scattered, not average blow-out. Also there is no hair conditioner, I saw another guest's comment from booking website, he mentioned this problem before. Obviously they did not recognize it and not have a plan to improve it. The shower makes us fell unfavorable. I called the reception about this problem, as we expected it takes about 25-30 minutes, BUT it was the very nice young guy who helped us parking and carrying our luggages, he came to our room to check it. We felt puzzled, why was he came to check the shower nozzle problem? Why this hotel do not have a repair-man? It still not solving this problem at last. Thirdly, we found a woman's sanitary pad right next to the hotel tumbler. It is a room have cleaned and arranged for more than 1 hour, huh? We are...
