If you're looking to experience authentic Cappadocian hospitality while staying in a cave-like dwelling, look no further! The hotel has been restored over to have modern amenities with spacious and comfortable rooms. The room is quite cool without an air conditioner even 30 degrees outside. Light in room is not bright but cozy. A heater in the bathroom makes our wet clothes easy to dry. Bottles of drinking water refilled every day. There are tea & coffee facilities in the room, which are also refilled regularly. The hotel has a great terrace overlooking central Urgub. Delicious homemade breakfast, fresh menu every day. They also offered a special tandoori dinner which was delicious, especially the Turkish style chicken. -The hotel located in an area, which is quiet yet convenient, 5 min walking from the center. Supermarkets, shops for buying souvenirs, spices, dry fruits, and Turkish delicacies are a stone's throw. The local bus stop just a few meters away from where you can choose to explore other nearby places such as Goreme, Avanos, etc.
Host Ibrahim is very kind, helpful and always pays attention to make your stay pleasant. -The front-desk works almost 24 h. The staffs are helpful with booking tours/arranging travel. They also provide luggage storage. -There is no elevator, but staffs are there to lug up your stuff with a smile.
I definitely recommend it and I hope to...
Read moreWe stayed at Dedeli Konak Cave Hotel back in August 2023 for a total of 2 nights and it is one of the most memorable stay ever for me!
By the time we reached hotel it was too late because of a delayed flight; the staff went out of way and saved dinner for us ready by the time we checked in!
Location wise I am not really sure but the 2 nights we spent in Cappadocia just passed by very quickly! We had local tour guides for both the days and there was lot to see. Ibrahim(Yuki Travels) booked the Hot Air Balloon ride for both of us and luckily the weather was cooperative too and we did the ride on day one itself!
Breakfast again was so fresh and huge spread; the dinner was just as excellent and fresh! It is the terrace breakfast and dinner are served! They also setup a cute heart photobooth where we tried few selfies and it is for everyone!
Not much parking but couple streets away free street parking.
I will go back to this hotel only if I go to Cappadocia again and I will recommend this place for the stay, the food and the very humble, friendly staff!!
Please do try the stay here and add your pics/review so it is helpful for others! Sorry for the delayed review.
Edit 1 - Ibrahim is such a welcoming host; we met his son and he was working so hard and getting well trained by Ibrahim and his staff; they will go a very long way and I wish them Good Luck! And we all had dinner...
