Lovely little hotel which use to be part of a local monastery. We were welcomed by Cuma as soon as we entered, unfortunately we were only in Cappadocia for 2 nights, but he helped make those two days memorable & we both loved it so much we want to come back again this year!
Very accommodating, helped us arrange last minute tours and made some amazing recommendations. Especially since we'd be put at the crack of dawn, and back early hours of the morning after a full day's activities! Sadly the hot air balloons weren't operating whilst we were there, but he certainly tried his best to get us on a tour!
Location wise it's a couple minute walk from town, perfect little location being close to town yet tucked away. Beautiful courtyard and amazing atmosphere in town.
You've got to try Cumas tea (I hate tea.. but the apple tea 🥰).
Room was a nice size, quirky but we loved it. Plenty of refreshments available.
Truly an amazing experience in Cappadocia, and Cuma made us feel at home in House of Cappadocia.
Thank you for your hospitality and help!...
Read moreI really loved my stay here at House of Cappadoccia. The host running the hotel was very warm and welcoming and helpful. The hotel was tastefully decorated with vintage Turkish relics that created a cozy and nurturing vibe. It felt like we were staying in a cave and prices were reasonable. The mini fridge was well stocked with various drinks if you should want something late at night. There was also a small kitchen guest could use for light food prep and a lovely courtyard with tables for socializing over late night tapas or breakfast. The beds were very comfortable, full king size plush, not two twin mattresses stuck together in which you sometimes find yourself rolling over a gapping fault line in the center. They have plenty of hot water and great water pressure. I would definitely stay here again, and think it is lovely romantic and affordable alternative to staying in the main city of Cappadoccia' Göreme which can be very expensive or fully over booked in prime season. Many Thanks for helping to make our trip...
Read moreWe had a really wonderful stay at House of Cappadocia. The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable—they genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. While their English was limited, they always made the effort to communicate with us, and their warmth and helpfulness came through in every interaction.
The room itself was simple, not luxurious, but very clean and cozy. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere of the place was peaceful and felt very authentic—perfect for a relaxing stay in Cappadocia.
They helped us with local tips, transportation, and even made us feel like part of the family. It’s clear they genuinely care about their guests.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, welcoming, and down-to-earth place with true Turkish hospitality, this is a great choice....
