Vintage Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Lviv Urban Hromada

I stayed in this hotel 3 nights.||Location is great, just few steps away from the main square, everything at walking distance but there is also a tram stop close by if needed.||The common areas are super nice, as it was also my room.||I was a bit surprised that there was no door for the bathroom but in the end I was alone so ok. The hotel is located in a pedestrian area where there are many bars and restaurants, and they provide earplugs for the night in case of noise...I slept with earplugs and didn't have any issue.||In the room I found also a bottle of water and soap, shampoo, etc that was nice.||Some comments about the room:||- housekeeping was done only if requested;||- I think that maybe an additional shelf in the bathroom would be helpful as also maybe in the room itself, the cabinet was a bit small.||I didn't try the breakfast.||Receptionist are available between 9 and 18. Outside these hours there were the doormen but they didn't speak english.||One of the receptionist, Yulia (I hope I remember correctly the name, anyways she is a blonde young lady) is great, she gave me a lot of suggestions about places to visit, restaurants, tour, etc. I really appreciated it!||I asked for an early check in and they accepted my request, as they could keep my luggage the last day while I was visiting the city.||They can also help to arrange transfer and tours.||Price I think it is the average touristic one.||If I would recommend...

With the help of a university colleague I was able to find this affordable hotel in the heart of Lviv's center. the room was very cosy the price was just amazing for an attractive location. The reception desk was perhaps the only english fluent person there but the cleaning services and the gentleman who facilitated my taxi and breakfast service at 5AM to the airport was extremely professional.

Also the hotel's entrance leads to a Wine store and the restaurant has traditional food.

The whole staff at Vintage Hotel were very supporting in making sure my requests were delivered. Also salutations to the Bar services for providing a splendid creation of the mojito. Quite Unique I must say and very reminiscent to my time at Le Meridien in London.

What stood out to me was the accurate waking phone service, and the customized breakfast goody bag which came with a sandwich , yogurt and fruits. Just splendid and professionally customizable. Excellend service. I will surely return when my time permits to visit Lviv again.

This hotel has all the right features of a 'boutique' property - small number of rooms, cool decor, and some quality furnishes in the main rooms of the building. But my first and last stay at this property was in a double room with a mattress so thin it hurt my back, lights from air conditioning and other devices illuminate the room at night making it hard to rest, and finally the noise from the street -- there are multiple bars downstairs, with people screaming on the street as late as 2AM, resulted in one of the worst hotel stays in recent memory for me. Last night I slept only 1.5 hours for example. Also I reserved with an AMEX and on check out the management said they didn't take AMEX. Overall I would not recommend this property to anyone for business or leisure. The restaurant was...
