Pstruh, Khlib Ta Vyno — Restaurant in Lviv Urban Hromada

It was one of my favorite places when I lived in Lviv, so after my wedding 25/08/19 I invited my french and ukrainian guests to have dinner in this restaurant. We arrived around 19:30 and chose a table outside.The first thing that alerted us was the dirty tables without the tablecloth. When I asked for the tablecloth, I was refused. We were 11 people and all ordered a baguette with pate, cheese and many different things, also we ordered cheese/meat plates and finish.We spent 2 hours at the restaurant and then all of us returned to hotel. At night 5 person felt bad and vomited all night. 26/08/19 we had a flight to Paris so we couldn’t do nothing just went to pharmacy and buy the necessary medication.At the airport, my friends were lying on the floor and running to the toilet every 10 minutes. It’s hard to explain what I felt in this moment! Next day 2 ukrainian friends tell me exactly the same.One of them was at hospital and all tests was detected the bacterium Enterobacter which is very dangerous for humans. When my friend addressed to the manager of restaurant about poisoning the case was delayed for more than 2 weeks and after they said we were checked everything and didn’t find any bacterium. As an American, I am not OK with being treated like I’m an intruder causing trouble for the establishment. I asked that the very loud music be turned down while we were there. I asked to talk to the manager and never had a visit during our meal concerning the music. I would not have asked if the music were not unfortunately quite annoying. The restaurant was full, and the speaker was directly above our heads. Nice and cozy restaurant in the historic center. It has a hall and a large summer terrace, pleasant music and hospitable staff. Home-baked bread with a variety of pâtés is served. You should also try summer trout. They can cook whole fish at a reasonable price in different ways. Wine or beer will be a good addition. They come here for lunch and dinner.
