Here’s where it gets worse: after we left, they suddenly changed their story and claimed they offered us another room, which is a blatant lie. The staff are unhelpful, dismissive, and clearly trained to push responsibility onto someone else instead of solving problems. Subject: Request Regarding Booking Date Change – King Gate Hotel Al Jadaf Dear Agoda Support, I would like to inquire about the booking date change policy for hotel reservations made through the Agoda app. Me and my wife booked a one-night stay at King Gate Hotel Al Jadaf. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in the booking date – it was made for June 10th to 11th instead of June 11th to 12th. The reservation was made late in the evening at 10:30 PM on June 10th. Once we realized the error, we immediately contacted Agoda, and we were advised to reach out to the hotel directly. We spoke with a team member at the King Gate Hotel reception, but they informed us that the management did not approve the date change. This was quite disappointing, especially since we were willing to pay any difference in price. As a result, we had no choice but to book another hotel. We were surprised that a simple one-day date adjustment was not accommodated, particularly for a Millennium property. My husband, who traveled all the way from Jordan, was especially disheartened by the experience. We would appreciate it if you could kindly get back to us regarding this issue. It honestly felt like Ikrami was taking personal revenge — ignoring calls, not responding, and treating us like we weren’t paying customers. I’m extremely disappointed in the lack of hospitality and professionalism from someone who represents the front face of a hotel chain like Millennium. If management doesn’t take immediate corrective action, they risk losing loyal customers — just like they lost me.

Subject: Request Regarding Booking Date Change – King Gate Hotel Al Jadaf Dear Agoda Support, I would like to inquire about the booking date change policy for hotel reservations made through the Agoda app. Me and my wife booked a one-night stay at King Gate Hotel Al Jadaf. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in the booking date – it was made for June 10th to 11th instead of June 11th to 12th. The reservation was made late in the evening at 10:30 PM on June 10th. Once we realized the error, we immediately contacted Agoda, and we were advised to reach out to the hotel directly. We spoke with a team member at the King Gate Hotel reception, but they informed us that the management did not approve the date change. This was quite disappointing, especially since we were willing to pay any difference in price. As a result, we had no choice but to book another hotel. We were surprised that a simple one-day date adjustment was not accommodated, particularly for a Millennium property. My husband, who traveled all the way from Jordan, was especially disheartened by the experience. We would appreciate it if you could kindly get back to us regarding this issue.
