I would recommend every time this amazing hotel . Even with struggle in between We spent , 8 person ( 4 rooms ) 3 weeks here and even we extended for few days . I don’t want to tell too much . But I would like to say how amazing the staff in the adress hotel is . Especially the cleaning service , they do really their 120% , the lounge at 7th floor , I would like to mention the young men Alaa . He does his work with his heart he had amazing moments with him , Miss Gema and the Chef and all the staff of 7th floor are top ! The reception staff I would like to mention M. Badr VERY EFFICIENT!!! Even when we had 4 nights without sleep ( 2 times false alert this is very triggering … and the construction ) we took his time to give us assurance and even because of him we decided to stay longer ! The restraurant on the 6th floor , it’s an amazing team every morning we had M Mohan with us who was always kind with us and very efficient.
We had not a very good experience with other staff at the reception especially !!! We had the club lounge so we had also the access to the steaming room and the sauna , but nobody told us about this , but Miss Myra preferred to do an offer like for 40.000€ more for an upgrade . I didn’t felt well with her at the check in especially we had not much explaination about the hotel and the restaurants and our access but she preferred to do 15 min long a estimation , also we struggled with her when we did a reclamation of no sleep in 4 nights ( in one week ) even when they did like an upgrade we need to say the carpets were still wet and there was the smell of carpet cleaning and this made headache over the night ( at 12 th floor ) . But we told nothing to the reception as we had 3 days to stay. Also about the problem of electricity and their touching light system. All together we were very happy and we will come back again Inchallah
Thank you also to the LADY and the Kids Club , my son spent an amazing time there , she’s is very kind and has a good sense of handling the situation with clients . Also the Chef ( the Turkish chef, I’m sorry I forgot the name ) but he is also very attentive person.
It’s the staff who made this hotel...
Read moreHaving stayed at thousands of hotels around the world this is a unique experience. This hotel is a 4 - 5 star hotel (depending on your travel experience) in terms of location, cleanness, general staff and service; however the second you want true five star service (or any decent service) which is driven by great experienced and friendly management it goes downhill very quickly!
The concierge is really not that helpful. Don’t blame them because Dubai is very expensive and they don’t have much first hand experience on attractions, restaurants etc…so you are much better off to google stuff.
We booked a deluxe suit which is clearly marked on their website to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children under 12. Upon arrival we found out that their rooms only have one king bed and they will provide one extra bed. We asked where the second kid should sleep and they had no answer and kept repeating that this is the room configuration. The rooms are also smaller than advertised. Basically our second child had to spent 6 nights on the sofa! Not a pull out sofa - just on the sofa. If you advertise for four people then you have to have two queens, a king and double sofa bed or a king/queen with a single pull out sofa bed and an extra bed…
Not going to bother listing the long laundry list of issues starting with the reservation team’s left hand not talking to the right hand, but the general staff are very nice and helpful (at restaurants and cleaning staff etc), the buffet is nice and good selection, however if you run into any issues that you need to deal with the revenue team, reservations, or management expect your typical $70/night motel service or a very robotic service that reads and re-reads from a script. It can totally ruin your stay….the management team of the check in and the management team of the reservation team has...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible experience tonight by the hotel security. Who was extremely rude and aggressive and who insulted me for no reason. I as a British Expat who has lived in Dubai for 2 and half years have never seen such subordinate behaviour from staff at the address, a place I visit frequently and usually have had vip service. I was on my way to Gal in a beautiful dress, when I was stopped by a 6ft tall door man, who refused entry to me. I agreed to put on a shawl if he felt it was too revealing, even though I had seen others wearing much more revealing clothes, I was happy to comply. Whilst waiting for a shawl, he told me to “wait over there if you don’t want to see my face, as I don’t want to see your face either.” This absolutely disrespectful behaviour was unacceptable and needs to be addressed. I have a masters degree and own several businesses and I refuse to allow anyone, especially a door man, who was trying to intimidate me to speak to me in such a rude and unacceptable manner. I am a regular at Gal and am very aware of the dress code. I complied and wore a shawl and continued to hosts my guests from Amsterdam who I bought especially. I am well aware of the usual five star service I have experienced at the Address. However it was my friends first time here, and had I not explained to her this was a one off incident, they would have a very different outlook on the chain as a whole. Please re train and reprimand your staff who have no restraint and have no respect when speaking to women. As this is a direct reflection on your hotel and can give a negative connotation on Dubai as a whole. As I said I’ve only ever received 5 star service from Gal and the address, however this man was very insulting and disrespectful and he needs to be...
