Hospitality Redefined — A Salute to Fuad, the Heart of Bosporus Dubai Mall
In a city filled with luxury, elegance, and endless restaurants, it’s not always the décor or the dishes that make a place stand out — sometimes, it’s a person. And at Bosporus in Dubai Mall, that person is Fuad.
From the very first moment we were seated, Fuad didn’t just manage the floor — he owned the atmosphere. Calm, courteous, confident, and radiating a kind of leadership that makes you feel instantly comfortable. He didn’t greet us like strangers. He welcomed us like valued guests — with that rare balance of warmth and professionalism that only the best in hospitality can offer.
What truly sets Fuad apart is his attitude — always composed, always smiling, and always reading the room. He didn’t just check in to ask “Is everything okay?” He engaged. He joked with us, made the whole group laugh, handled our questions with patience, and made sure that every single one of us felt seen and cared for. His presence on the floor brought a kind of ease — like you knew you were in the right place.
At one point, when things got a little crowded, we noticed how calm he remained. No rush, no frustration — just pure focus and flow. You could tell the staff around him respected him too, which says even more. A great manager doesn’t just manage — he leads by example, and Fuad does exactly that.
Whether it was helping us choose dishes, adjusting our seating, or just passing by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, he carried the entire experience like a gentleman — one hand managing service, the other making guests feel like family.
To be honest, the food at Bosporus is always a win — but this time, it was Fuad’s hospitality that turned a good dinner into a genuinely unforgettable memory.
To the Bosporus leadership team: Fuad is a gem. An asset to your brand. The kind of person who leaves a lasting impression long after the plates are cleared. He doesn’t just serve guests — he builds trust, comfort, and connection. That is hospitality...

Our experience: As a starter for our lunch, we were served a giant airated flat bread topped with sesame seeds. It also came with a small serving of well-prepared hummus as a dipping sauce. This was a simple dish and the combination worked well as an appetizer.
A while later we were served the mixed grill dish that was richly spiced and mouth - wateringly aromatic (I believe it was the parsley). The meat we were served was fresh, tender, and juicy, and the leftover hummus from earlier added to the already spectacular taste palette of the whole dish.
I'm not sure what else went into preparation of the hummus other than chickpeas, but I'm certain it can take your plain white rice to another level (bc that's what it did for us!).
When we were done with our main course, we were served complimentary black teas (I don't know if it was Turkish tea or just regular tea), and oh what a delight they were! It is served without any sugar so you can enjoy it as you please. It made dining here feel like such a treat and what better way to wrap up a lunch from here?
It was our first time trying Turkish cuisine and all in all, we had a positive experience.
Highlights: (1) Our waiter, who was educated and aware enough to adjust our service and orders to accommodate my gluten intolerance. She did her best to keep me safe from allergens and to keep cross contamination to a minimum (2) The complimentary bread+hummus and tea.
Suggestion: Generally speaking, all of our stomachs would be happier if the serving sizes were upgraded to include some more in quantity, especially...

Located in The Mall of Dubai, Bosphorus is supposed to be one of the best Turkish cuisine in Dubai. Went for late lunch and the place was near empty. I was given a table immediately.
Asked the server for recommendation and was given a few suggestions. I ordered Muhammara as starter and Iskander kebab as main. For drinks I ordered Ayran and was given a complimentary Tea at the end.
The Muhammara had no taste whatsoever the only thing I could taste was spice. Could not finish it. For main after waiting a while I was served a mixed grill, I took one piece of meat and ate it. However soon after the dish was removed as it was the wrong order and the server apologised for serving wrong order.
I had to wait another 15 min for the iskander kebab to be served. The kebab is on top of khuboos bread within tomato sauce. The meat was nicely cooked. However there was no taste to the dish except the tomato sauce. The dish was as bland as it gets. The grill that was served as mistake was cooked nicely.
The ayran drink was OK and tea was good. The service at the resturant was slow and if they could make a mistake at near empty resturant I could only imagine what would happen when it is busy.
I personally will give it a second chance as have heard good reviews. But based on my first experience here I will definetly not recommend this to anyone. As it is expensive and the taste is nothing extraordinary. There are some really good Turkish restaurants in Dubai with amazing food however this is not...
