Dubai Opera — Attraction in Downtown Dubai

Be aware. First of all the public must know that upper boxes have a partial view, basically at least 40 per cent of the stage is hidden by huge speakers and they neither warn you nor return your money so you would be deceived. Not only that. So let me start from the beginning. We had the worst experience, we bought a full box the closest to the stage as we had 2 seniors with poor vision my mother in law ( 83 years old and in wheelchair ) and my father in law ( 91 years old ) The website never showed even one sign for wheelchair users. The website only had the information that it was wheelchair accessible When we arrived we were shown a way to reach the box that couldn’t take my mother in law wheelchair so we had to send her back, then our view from the box was just awful, more than half of the show happened from middle to back stage and even the projections where only partially accessible to your eyes. The box itself is extremely uncomfortable because you have to lean completely to see anything and your feet will be “crushed” by the shape of the box in front of seats. We had the full first half on this horrible set up then after complaining they offered us VIP (which was too far away for my father in law, there was a reason we chose the closest place we found) and then a box more to the center which only improved partially the view but still not much to be worth anything. We complained the next day and received a call from a representative who offered us to upgrade us on future visits and the reversing on the payment but after one month with no updates we contacted again just to be told that they never do reversals and only if we purchase more tickets they would upgrade us As we told the representative this place is basically deceiving customers, they are very much aware that there is no way anyone who purchases those boxes can see this show properly, even if you push yourself to border and twist your knees awkwardly which as you can imagine is not ideal posture to enjoy your time and they don’t provide fair and honest information on the accessibility for wheelchair or the actual view the guests will have from this box This is really poor and giving a bad name for the city's attractions for no particular reason just lack of common sense and professionalism. If you visit this place just have a selfie from the outside, save yourself the bad taste from purchasing and experience there.
