Exceptional Family Experience at Ramada by Wyndham Downtown We were fortunate to be gifted a one-night stay at the Ramada by Wyndham Downtown, and our experience truly exceeded all expectations—especially since we visited with our kids on April 25th. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the staff made us feel welcome and appreciated. The check-in process was seamless and quick, which was a relief after traveling with children. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped. The beds were plush and inviting, providing a perfect night’s sleep for both adults and kids alike. The room also had a lovely view, and the modern amenities made our stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast Delight: Breakfast was a highlight of our stay! The selection was impressive, with plenty of fresh options to suit everyone’s tastes—hot items, cereals, pastries, fruit, and more. The dining area was bright and inviting, and the staff kept everything well-stocked and tidy. It was a great way to start our day and gave us the energy we needed for our adventures. Pool Fun: The kids absolutely loved the pool! It was clean, well-maintained, and just the right size for family fun. The pool area was safe and relaxing, allowing us to unwind while the kids splashed around and made new friends. It’s situated right along the line of pricey hotels surrounding the Dubai Fountain and the Burj Khalifa but it’s reasonably priced. I got 1 bedroom suite with living room with the full view of the fountain and the Burj for less than P100,000 Philippine Peso compared to the prices offered by the swanky hotels nearby, plus FULL Board. Yes, you heard that right, full board - breakfast buffet, plated lunch, and dinner buffet.
From the time we got off our Uber from the airport, we were immediately attended to by Victor, Rashid, and Akbar, who took care of us, took our luggage so we could comfortably check in. When we got to our room, our luggage was already there.
On days when we would go out, they would always ask us if we need any help. Always made sure our days were fun.
The room was spacious and always, always clean (for our 7 day stay).
At Kenza Restaurant (where the buffet is), everyone was super friendly and attended to all the guests.
Mary Ann, Rubab, and Rustam took great care not just of our family but all the guests. They would regularly check on the guests asking them what they need. The guests felt really special and attended to. The tables were also immediately cleaned so it was always nice to eat in the restaurant.
The food, the service, the quality, and the variety of choices provided in the restaurant was superb and excellent.
My parents, who are normally hard to please, loved our stay so much. We all agreed that staying at Ramada felt like staying with family members who took really great care of you.

Read moreThis was my second stay at Ramada Downtown Dubai, chosen mainly for its proximity to the Opera House. Unfortunately, this time my experience was far from pleasant.
On arrival, I was given a room on the 8th floor, directly below ongoing construction. The noise started early in the morning and sometimes continued until 8 p.m. When I complained, the staff apologized (as they usually do) and offered me another room on a higher floor. After two days, I had to repack and move, which was inconvenient given my long stay.
The second room, though newly renovated, had its own problem: the shower drain was blocked, causing the bathroom to flood. Maintenance discovered the blockage was due to hair that had not been cleaned prior to my stay—a clear sign of poor housekeeping.
What was most disappointing, however, was the attitude of the staff. They were robotic, unprofessional, and seemed more focused on money than guest satisfaction. They did not listen to my concerns or attempt to offer meaningful solutions. This was especially evident during checkout.
I know one review may not change much, but this is the least I can do to share my experience. I will not return or book here again. My suggestion to management is to invest in a stronger customer relations team that genuinely values guest experience and loyalty.
