I had an absolutely fantastic booking experience, starting from the moment I made the reservation to downloading their application.
Upon arrival, Mr. Emad graciously upgraded us to a room with a stunning view of the sea. Throughout our stay, we encountered a few challenges, but Mr. Emad promptly and professionally handled them. He went above and beyond to ensure our complete satisfaction, making our efforts in choosing this place worthwhile.
I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Emad for addressing my concerns about the sounds from the ongoing emergency work and ensuring our satisfaction.
Here are the positives of our experience:
The property is very new, which means everything is in excellent condition.
The highlight was definitely the breakfast. It was of top-notch quality, with barista-made drinks, refreshing fruit juices, a variety of yogurts, delectable pastries, an extensive selection of butters and jams, salmon, various meat options, and the list goes on.
The service was good, and all the staff members were polite.
Taxis were readily available.
The host and the housekeeping staff were professional.
The room cleaning service was outstanding, with every single detail restored to its original state when we checked in.
We initially stayed in a spacious studio room, which was beautifully decorated with contemporary abstract art, boasted high ceilings, featured elegant ceiling lights, and had tasteful decor.
We later moved to the one-bedroom studio, which had a lovely balcony.
Both units were equipped with fully functional kitchens, including a washing machine and dryer.
Although we didn't utilize the kitchen, it had elegant cutlery, dining sets, an oven, a stove, a grill, a dishwasher, and everything one could need.
There was a beautiful infinity pool near the reception, although it overlooked a construction site. However, this was only a temporary inconvenience, and we didn't have the opportunity to use the pool.
The location was excellent, and even though we didn't personally use it, the tram was conveniently located just outside the hotel's entrance. Additionally, the monorail was only a 10-minute indoor walk away.
Now, let's address the concerns we had:
Unfortunately, the concierge was hesitant to assist us during several visits. However, they became incredibly attentive when tipped but seemed lazy and ignored us when we didn't tip.
There were very few staff members available during breakfast, which resulted in us having to search for someone to clear our plates when we returned to the table with a fresh plate.
There was a person wearing a green jacket who often seemed lost and distracted. If he was a floor manager, it would have been nice if he made eye contact and greeted us.
While there were two kinds of pillows provided, both of them were soft. It would have been great if there were firmer pillows available.
The air-conditioning in the room was quite weak. It measured the room temperature incorrectly and failed to cool the room below 20 degrees, which made for uncomfortable nights, especially when using the provided duvet.

Read moreService: - Overall is good, reception manager Pei Pei demonstrated good service and fast response, but one reception guy was disappointing - Gobin who was the night time reception, was lowering the whole level of the hotel, ashamed the whole hotel (Incident: we saw an advertisement in the elevator showing 160 AED for 6 bottled Heineken beer in the afternoon, that night we ordered by dialing 0 in the room service, then when paying the bill, it was 252 AED, we didn't ask further for the price because we were afriad we missed some conditions in the advertisement. The other night, we planned to order again, so we see again the advertisement in the elevator, it just stated "Dial 0 or scan QR code to place order", then we headed to the reception and asked if there is any hidden conditions. Gobin just questioned me if my picture is taken on the day and told me it is a recent promotion, so it's wasn't started on the day i ordered. That's totally trying to drag the problem to us, i was never thinking to get back what i over paid, and you didnt need to defend and attack me at once. And then he asked if I have any proof that the advertisement was published on the day I order the beer, I said I didn’t take a picture on that day, then I asked him which day this promotion started, he failed to answer. Then he quibbled and said because we didn't tell over the phone that we wanted to get the promotion beer, so we couldn't get 160 AED beer. I was so pissed, but I was too focused on how I can proof the promotion has already started on the day I ordered the beer, then I went back to our room and I didn't pay much attention to his words. After going back my room, my family told me again what Gobin said just now, it was totally humiliating and treated us as a fool. Is that I don't mention the promotion price, then I need to pay extra? It's totally nonsence. The original price was 240 AED for 6 bottles, we paid 252 AED just because you charged me on a price of single bottle 42 AED each x 6 bottles. Because I was totally pissed off, I went back and argued with him, he knew he couldn't cheat me anymore, then he passed our case to his colleague. His colleague ** in his service too (but i forgot to memorize his name), same as Gobin, he was trying to point the problem back to us, he said because there was no bottled beer so the staff gave us canned beer that night, so I was charged for a higher price, then I told him to see the two remaining bottles in my room and i took picture on that night as well. At last, they failed to put back the fault to us, and gave me back the money. The whole incident was nonsense, and ruined my mood in the whole night. I had never tried to feel so pissed for a staff in the hotel before. Tip to know the level of cleanliness in the room, check under the beds. In a lot of four and five star hotels when I bent down to check under the bed it was dirty. In this hotel it is shining with cleanliness. There is a valet parking service for the hotel guests all super courteous and efficient. The person in charge of the trips also helped us a lot courtesy and efficiency. The pools at the hotel are great and clean. Four elevators work quickly and efficiently. Room service is efficient and meets every request. The hotel is in a great location, right in front of Palm Island and near it there is the monorail and the metro, we rented a car and it was very easy to get to the hotel. Opposite the hotel there is an oriental restaurant called Coco Ma, excellent, tasty, cheap and clean. We loved the hotel so much that I quickly signed up for a loyalty program of this hotel chain.
