I visited this restaurant a few times for lunch and dinner in the past and I did a specific review in TripAdvisor not long ago, it was a faultless review! I am so disappointed with the food quality and in general the food presented to us last night! I ordered fish and chips for my 8 yo girl, to be honest it was the wort fish and chips I ever seen ( child menu) I find much better in any McDonald! My starter I chose scallops and was looking forward to it! When arrived it was pure cold , after questioning it was informed that it is the way they serve it! Clearly that isn't the case, it suppose to be a warm dish! I think personally the chef just had a bad day in the kitchen!! It test not so good believe me ! Then my lamb shops come and I was expected the one I chose which was the Australian rack of lamb, I was served a few lamb shops with salad! The only satisfaction myself and my wife had was the cocktails, my strawberry frozen margarita was beautiful and my bill come to AED1020 Just to add the manager did come to our table and did toke the fish and chips out of my bill, but I was planning to take my family arriving this week (8 of us there) for dinner, I am now completely sure not the right place to take them, how sad! I love this place , but maybe new chef? definitely new menu! Not value for money anymore my opinion, also forgot to mention the coconut rice pudding was poor, not having it...
Read moreHad a pool day and then decided to come here for Saturday brunch. The place and location is very nice. It is located next to the hotel pool so it seemed to have more of a family and people staying at the hotel vibe vs outside people in terms of a Dubai brunch. The food was good as they have a variety of Asian dishes. There maybe needs to be a training for servers. Some servers seemed to not know what was going on and when we asked questions they would leave to give answers or not come back. We ordered kim chi fried rice as part of the brunch package and 2 1/2 hours later the rice came. Our main server kept saying it was coming but didn't come until the end. I would of preferred them tell us what was happening for us to go through 3 other main dishes of meat without ever having rice. Other servers would recommend something but then come and bring something different or not at all. The service overall was very inconsistent as some waiters were very friendly but lacked knowledge of the restaurant or just seemed not to know what was going on with the food. Something that wasn't expected to have at this restaurant. The food presentation was very nice but nothing necessarily stood out as wow. Overall an ok experience but with a group of 3, not sure we would come back here for a brunch but the location...
Read moreBack in July, my mom and I dined at Eauzone during our last night in Dubai. We were guests at the One & Only, as we were celebrating my mother being 11 years cancer free. The hostess, our server, and the restaurant manager were beyond kind to us. Being keenly aware of our dietary restrictions (I’m pescatarian, dairy free, and gluten free, & my mom is vegan and gluten free), they made us feel taken care of. We were given a special vegan/gf crispy rice cake cracker situation as we perused the menu. In terms of menu items, we ordered the following: Salty Edamame, Asian Mixed Salad Goma, Side of White Rice, Salmon Avocado Roll, and the Garden Roll. I appreciate how the menu was clearly labelled for food allergen-friendly folks.
All of the items were delicious, fresh, and to our liking. I found the Garden Roll to be particularly unique. The chef even came out to say hello and apologize for not being able to accommodate my mom’s request for a side of sweet potatoes (they had already been allocated that day). We ended the night drinking tea and reminiscing on what a great trip we had. I want to wholeheartedly thank the restaurant manager (I’m sorry I didn’t get his name!) for patiently taking a ton of...
