Jetty Lounge — Restaurant in Dubai

We went for a sunset drinks. The hotel it self is gorgeous and so as the lounge, typical beach bar, nice mix of blue and white furniture and decor. The inside bar open to the outisde area is very elegant. Cocktails... Were not amazing but not the worst. The views on the left you can see all the JBR area.. Very Miami meets Panama. Unfortunately now as everywhere in Dubai.. Some constructions is blocking a full sunset. Now my issue was the music! Was a cheesy, commercial but not good commercial pop electro, very loud and really bad. When I say bad, I know good beach music and sunset loungy beat! When the bar manager asked us nicely if all is good, I said yes very much but honestly the music, he replied with an attitude ok thank u for ur comment I will communicate it to management, i said well u know its bad.. U kept this terrible electro music when the sun was setting and the colors were magic.. Maybe if the dj knew any good music would play iberica music with sexy tribal beats like Ibiza.. He said i Know I am from Valencia! So I said u know good music, he seemed not happy! And he said u know this music is managed by big management company.. Well, my opinion is that ur management knows nothing about music.. I would love to go back but I won't because music was the worsttt sounded like a cheap bar in...

I love this place but not because of the service. The location is everything. It sits right on the beach and overlooks Palm Jumeirah. It also has a long walk way out to the sea where people are transported between that hotel and the one on the Palm. However, you can take a nice romantic walk down the walk way as well.

The venue also has loads of bean bags and has a very relaxed atmosphere where you can just plump down and chill out with friends or an amour. There is an indoor area as well but no one wants to sit there when you have that fabulous outdoor area. It wins hands down when it comes to location and atmosphere.

However, the service is bland and somewhat awful. It takes over 30 minutes to locate someone to take your order and sometimes as much as 30 minutes to get the order. The service staff are sour faced and unfriendly and behave as if you did something wrong. I tried to have a conversation with a service staff once and he just looked blank and annoyed that I was being friendly. Very odd behaviour for a venue located in a 5 star international resort.

INCREDIBLE views and drinks! I can’t say enough good things about how beautiful this place is. We were shocked from the moment we walked in because the ambiance and views are truly exceptional. My friend and I came here to close out our night in the city and we were greeted with such exceptional service throughout. One of the staff members offered to drive us down to the lounge in a golf cart so that we wouldn’t have to walk. Once we arrived, we were immediately seated in the most beautiful spot by the water. We ordered two drinks and a cheese plate. The manager overheard us ordering drinks and decided that he was going to make us off-menu drinks that were crafted entirely for us. They didn’t charge extra beyond the prices of the original drinks we ordered and made us some delicious cocktails. The lighting is so cozy and soft, and it made for some beautiful photos! There’s also a little dock/bridge into the water that you can walk up to for stunning views of the city. It’s definitely not cheap, but I didn’t mind the prices whatsoever for the stellar service and views. You absolutely HAVE to come to this place! It was one of our most memorable...
