A Genuine and Comprehensive Review from April 2025 – Why I Don’t Recommend This Hotel Pros of the Hotel Beautiful and fresh design: The lobby, buffet area, and rooms are stunning. We had a large room with a kitchen and washing machine on the 14th floor—it was great! The design might not be for everyone, but visually, the hotel is impressive. Good buffet food: Tasty and filling. Unlike some places, they didn’t run out of food an hour before closing. Instagrammable views from the 180 View Bar and a gorgeous rooftop pool. Shoutout to Mansour at the 180 View Bar—a fantastic guy who knows how to handle guests. Cleanliness: Daily housekeeping, fresh-smelling hallways (thanks to the hotel’s signature scent sprayed everywhere). Amazing bed—fell asleep instantly. Perfect size, perfect mattress. One of the best beds I’ve ever slept in, even compared to some 5-star hotels! Room amenities: 2 free water bottles replenished daily. Capsule coffee, tea, and dishes (depending on room type) small iron, hairdryer. Plenty of towels, robes, slippers, and huge bottles of citrus-scented shower products (shampoo, gel, hair conditioner, body lotion). Strong Wi-Fi everywhere—never dropped. Early check-in: We arrived at 7 AM (check-in is officially at 3 PM, which is ridiculous—most hotels allow it by noon). We got in by 12:30 PM—but with a catch (see cons). Cons of the Hotel Room issues: Bedding wasn’t changed once in 6 days. No powder for the washing machine. Smoking everywhere—not ideal for families. Repetitive food: By day 5, eating the same thing was torture. Breakfasts were identical. Same fruits every day: Unripe watermelon, tough melon, tiny papaya chunks in salad Lunch/dinner: Same dishes with minor variations (e.g., lamb shank one day, shredded lamb salad the next). Pathetic "All Inclusive" drinks: only 5 free sodas (Pepsi, 7Up, etc.), packaged juices, and two awful mocktails. No non-alcoholic beer. Cheap alcohol—cocktails were undrinkable. Paid drinks weren’t much better: A 70 AED sparkling wine tasted worse than cheap Russian stuff. 65 AED cocktails were so bad, I didn’t even finish them. Terrible service & scams: got the wrong room at first—booked a bay-view balcony room but was given a tiny, dirty-windowed room overlooking the restaurant. Only fixed after arguing. All Inclusive lies: No free snacks at the 180 View Bar—ordered a fruit salad (same as breakfast fruit), and they counted it as lunch, blocking us from the actual buffet! Staff ignored AI guests—waited 40 mins for a drink order while paying customers got instant service. No napkins or cutlery on tables—had to beg staff or steal from other tables. Beach issues: not a private hotel beach—just a public Palm beach with paid amenities. First beach (near Bar 305): Pink with no free sunbeds after 10 AM. , most of them were stained or broken; decent ones cost 400 AED. Second beach: Worse—far from the hotel, smelly towels, no servers. Worst part: Swimming in the brown, murky bay🥲go to Kite Beach for real sea water. Rooftop pool problems: Overchlorinated, dirty loungers, crowded (after 10:30 AM, you can’t swim—just stand). "No reserving spots" rule ignored—people hogged chairs with towels at dawn. 180 View Bar: AI drinks end at 5 PM—after that, even free Pepsi costs money. QR codes for ordering didn’t scan (ink smudged from humidity). Elevator safety: Mid-stay, they locked elevators to stop outsiders but didn’t tell guests—we got stuck between floors! Key cards kept failing—replaced mine 3 times. Residents: 80% Russian tourists, many behaving badly (vodka at lunch, loud, rude). Felt embarrassed to be Russian.
Final Verdict: Avoid For the insane price, NH Palm Jumeirah Collection isn’t worth it. Food: 4/10 Service: 1/10 Location: 4/10 Rooms & Cleanliness: 4/10 "Private Beaches": 1/10 Bay "Swimming": 0/10

Read moreI spent 7 amazing days in the NH Collection Dubai the Palm. So, let’s start) The building is new and rooms are very comfortable and cozy. There are 2 beaches (with music and without) and my favourite place its swimming pool on the roof. You can see a wonderful view day and night. My room was clean every day and I have to say thanks to Mukesh. He did his job the best! Now I’d like to tell you about food. OMG it’s so tasty 😋 I had breakfast, lunch and dinner. I tasted almost everything, because I took small pieces of food. They have different kinds of meat, fish, vegetables, fruits and so on. And of course sweets 🍭 Every day it’s something new and so delicious🤤 On the G-floor there is a cool bar where you can also get rest) But the main reason why I really liked this place it’s because of the hotel staff. They are amazing, kind, polite, friendly and all of them are very beautiful and wonderful❤️ I would like to tell thanks for everybody🫶 At the reception I met cute girl and her name is Ru. She explained me everything about this hotel and if I had some questions she explained it to me) Binod and Ali will help you with luggage, doors and cars. I’d like to thankful the chef Hersham, because the food was so delicious and tasty! If you like omelets you should ask Sneha because she is doing the tastiest omelet) At the restaurant I was met by such beautiful girls as Nereiza, Valentina, Cheyser and Monalina. They were always so kind, generous and of course they were smiling😄 Thank you so much to all the waiters, namely, Sherzodjon, Sharon, Jennifer, Darshan, Sally, Piyumi, Simran (I hope I haven't forgotten anyone🙈) They did their job as fast as they could💪 And of course always with a smile 😉 Thank you to Rahul, because it was so clean in the restaurant! I really liked the way how they were working in the restaurant 👍 They helped each others, they did their job very fast, they were supporting each others and of course they did everything with a smile😄 In the end I would like to say thanks to Aarati, Mike and Warab! Read moreMy partner and I just returned from a 7 night HB stay with NH Collection. Upon arrival check-in staff were lovely and upgraded our room for free, which was a nice touch!
Our room was a studio apartment with a balcony (they’re quite small by the way) and a kitchen with fridge freezer and hob amenities, which was perfect for storing any food and drinks we bought outside of the hotel or warming up any food. The hallways did have a weird smell but it weren’t too bothersome.
The buffet breakfast and dinner was nice, with different choices everyday. Big shout out to Izhar and team for cheffing it up and the NAAN BREAD - great stuff!
The rooftop pool is a nice touch, however it’s so hard to get a lounger, it’s almost as if you have to be there at opening to get something. This does die down around the 2-3pm mark though when people start to drop off with their children or start to get ready to go do other things. The access to the 305 club is a nice touch, but also, always busy and we’re only allowed to use certain beds as guests of the hotel.
We also did massages at the hotel, I did a Deep tissue, Balinese and foot reflexology massage and my partner did a deep tissue massage, and WOW! The two ladies that attended to us were really amazing! It was so good we went back for more lol! All the staff in this area were phenomenal and lovely and the GINGER TEA - fantastic.
The hotel is very close to Nakheel mall and Aura Skypool both walking distance.
The reason I’m giving this review a 4 star is because I believe NH Collection need to train their staff in: Adhering to their policies and standing firm on them, Unconscious Bias and, Possibly discrimination and while I don’t want to call it that, I think all should be part of training, as I experienced two counts of this on the same day and it really made me conscious about the rest the stay. Firstly by a member of staff at the buffet breakfast and secondly at the rooftop for evening drinks and while I probably would’ve given an overall 3 star, the way NH collection handled my complaints was exceptional.
Alexander Kiiru - A. Food&B Manager made sure we were looked after at the Revo Cafe - breakfast here was FABULOUS!!! Chef’s Kiss. We want to say a BIG thank you to POE (she always remembered our order and treated us with a 5 star service!!), Deepak and Jimmy for looking after us.
Flint - who made sure we were looked after when we returned to the rooftop for drinks and shisha. And overall the rest of the supervisors and management for always checking in when were...
