Nakheel Mall Monorail Station — Local services in Dubai

As an experience on its own, it is nothing special. If you plan to go to the aqua park, you can take the monorail. It is not very expensive, or just take a taxi as that will get you there faster and cheaper. The view from the monorail is not really special and riding the monorail is similar to the metro, only less convenient as it rides less often and queues from tour groups at the ticket office. Note that information about the monorail is often outdated, you can not use your metro day pas for the monorail, you have to buy a (return) ticket for the monorail. Also the station before Atlantis is now closed, so the monorail is now just a gimmick to travel...

Le 15/03/2025, aux alentours de 16h, je demande au Monsieur en charge de la vente des tickets que je souhaite un ticket me permettant de faire l’aller retour à « The Pointe ». J’ai donc acheté le ticket AR à 35 aed.

Sauf que je n’arrive pas à « The Pointe » mais à l’entrée du Parc Aquatique. Je demande donc au personnel du Monorail se trouvant à cette station comment faire pour me rendre à « The Pointe ». La femme au guichet m’informe que le lieu est en fait dorénavant fermé au public, complètement inaccessible.

Je suis très fâchée que son collègue a Nakheel Mall ne m’en ai pas informé alors que je lui ai clairement dit où je souhaitais aller. Il n’a rien dit du tout, comment peut-on être mauvais comme ça ? J’ai perdu 35 aed et presque 40 min...
