Visited today and it’s absolutely unbelievable, like a lot of other people say photos don’t do it justice it truly is fantastic. We had the Marina view imo the best one as you see a bit of sea, skyline & the palm all in one.
Staff are very pleasant, asking if everything is ok, if there’s anything else they can do etc no problem there.
Food was yummy too, we got sliders, a pepperoni flatbread and some truffles fries, a few cocktails as well, in total spent about £180. So yes very pricey but you’re paying for an experience and alcohol is expensive in Dubai anyway.
So the reason for the 3 star and not 5… What in the earth happened this morning? Turned up at about 9:35am(we had the 10-2 slot) and was told to wait in line, no problem as there was already a couple people in front of us at the time, so we joined and waited like everyone else. Over the next 30 or so minutes absolute chaos, the que was now extremely long and people were clearly frustrated. We was told by a nice gentleman that was security that there was an issue and that we’d get extra time in the pool once it was sorted. About 10:30 we’re finally let in & suddenly everyone darts into the front door and security guards don’t really do anything to stop it so people who turned up after others pushed to the front & where let in first which was extremely annoying as people who got there early and had been waiting over an hour just got completely ignored. Also why make us que if you’re not going to use the que to let people in?
Also the gentleman at the front who said we’d get extra time for the delay, well that didn’t happen either. At about 1:30 staff came round with our bill and asked us to pay and although they never asked us to leave you could sense that they was waiting for us to leave so they could clean up for the next guests. Hanging around and hovering etc.
This was a one off apparently, and reading other reviews it does seem like it’s usually spot on this was just mine & my partners personal experience.
Would still recommend as it’s truly stunning and probably one of our most memorable days in Dubai, in future if things get busy a better que system or more security would...
Read moreAn Unforgettable Evening! I had the pleasure of visiting AURA SKYPOOL for the special AURA Art presents Jamelia – 25 Years The Superstar event on Thursday, October 23rd, and the experience was nothing short of perfection. This is not just a venue; it is a world-class destination that delivers luxury and warmth in equal measure. The service from start to finish was truly impeccable and worthy of five stars alone. Every member of the staff was attentive, anticipating needs without being intrusive, which elevated the already spectacular evening. The entire flow, from the 8:00 PM welcome reception with free-flowing drinks and canapés to the main performance, was executed flawlessly. The Jamelia acoustic performance, set high above the iconic skyline, was a truly breathtaking and exclusive experience. Hearing her mix of unreleased tracks and iconic classics in such an intimate setting was a Dubai debut I won't forget. The formatincluding the smooth transition to the Palm Deck, the interval, and the engaging live Audience Q&A kept the evening dynamic and exciting. A special shout-out must go to the lovely lady in the AURA Boutique who helped me secure the limited-edition Jamelia x AURA collaboration scarf. She was an absolute gem patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely delighted to assist. This kind of personalied, warm service is what truly sets AURA apart, ensuring I was able to commemorate the unforgettable night with the perfect souvenir. The "Elegant Glam" dress code ensured a sophisticated atmosphere, and the post-show Meet & Greet and after-party with the DJ were the perfect cap to an unforgettable cultural evening. If you have the chance to attend an AURA Art event, or simply visit the pool, do not hesitate. This event was...
Read moreI came to treat my girlfriends over a nice breakfast in the sky! It is very hard to reach the place and communicate with them. You have to call multiple times to actually get someone to speak to you. Responsivness on whatsapp is very slow(more than a day to get an answer).
They are very stingy and even after I paid in advance the minimum spent for the group, they told me if we are late they will cancel my order and not refund me. I found tone of that lady over the phone rude and persistant, like fine, I understood, you don’t have to emphasize it several times…. Anyway, I told them it is hard for me to vouch for the group of 9 people, but that I will come on time. I came 20 min before and then there is this huge queue in front of the hotel waiting to be checked if you have a booking before you proceed to elevators. What a waste of time and no organization whatsoever! Felt sorry for the guy at the counter! I am thankful to the security gentleman who let me go through faster since Im pregnant (I did not ask for it, he noticed himself and offered help). Staff was kind but not very attentive, I had to remind to give menu back as ladies were coming one by one. They did not offer to put flowers I received in the vase or anything really… those are small details that matter, but ok. View from the top is beautiful, however I would never come to that pool. It’s so narrow and claustrophobic actually, very tight… you just pay for the view.
Food was ok, but nothing special. Very average for such a place.
Overall I would come once for a breakfast to have a view if you want to have a view, but that’s it. definitively not a place you want to rerurn to multiple times.
I do have to say they gave me a small muffin as a gift for my birthday...
