We went for brunch with a big group of friends last week, I don’t recommend it for big groups because they refuse to serve you any food until everyone arrives so that they know the exact number of people for whom they are going to serve the food. We started to starve so we gave them a rough number, and it turned out they give each person 1 piece of everything, so if god forbid someone did the unthinkable of taking 2 bites, then someone else will end up with no food. So 1 piece of oyster per person, 1 pieces of tiny avocado taco per person and so on. There were some other salads and pizzas and to be fair the food tasted good, however the portions are very very stingy and if u ask for more, then you have to pay for it (as if what u are already paying for the brunch is not enough). The service was very slow, it takes 40-50 minutes to get a drink, luckily the water bottles were just left on the bar so i was going myself to grab a couple for our table whenever someone needed, cos it would have taken forever for the waiters to bring it. Still the portion size and the service were not the worst part, the absolute worst was their music, particularly the music volume, with speakers located on top of every table as well as on the floor, the sound waves were hitting us left and right, to the extent that you could literally see our bags that we have put on the floor jumping off, literally jumping off the floor, so imagine what it was doing to our ears and to our bodies, of course we couldn’t have any conversation, people around the table were just popping panadol to get through the day, I personally still have terrible pain in my throat and vocal cords because of how loud I had to shout on top of the music just to exchange very few words with the people around me. The only peaceful moment I had was when I went to the bathroom and locked the bathroom door, that’s when I felt that the sound waves are no longer hitting and banging my body from every direction. I left the place extremely exhausted and having body aches as if I was being beaten up… I really can’t wrap my head around why would the place owners want the music to be that loud, unless they are trying to torture their customers. I really feel bad for the people who live in the buildings around them, imagine paying this much rent every month just to be subjected to this...
Read moreHonestly if there was 0/5 i would put it. 1- I got an email confirming my reservation. When we reached there it was not showing on the system. It took them 15 min to find us a table. 2- we took the brunch offer (490dhs per person for house beverage + food only which is expensive compared to other good places in Dubai). They brought us a margherita pizza (seriously?!) whereas in the set menu it’s a choice between a 4 cheese pizza and salami spinatta. 3- on the alcohol set menu, it’s written cocktails are included. We get there, they say they have excluded it… so only wine, soft drinks and house spirits for 490dhs 😂 4- service was EXTREMELY slow. Every round of drinks took so much time, the food took forever to get to our table. 5- the wagyu striploin was not a wagyu striploin. It consisted of fat. It took them 30 min to get us a new one. 6- everytime we asked to speak to the manager the waiter was stalling by saying the manager is very busy and will come to us once he is free and asks us to voice our concerns to him (very unprofessional). Turns out there is no manager during the sunday brunch.. Finally, after 1.5 hours of insisting, we spoke to the bar manager and the assistant manager. 7- they thought that in order to make it up to us a bottle of Da Luca would be enough (it costs 40dhs if you wanna get it from the shop ). Of course we refused. We paid our bill and left.
Everytime we asked for the manager we wanted to provide factual feedback to make our present experience better.
To sum it all up, I believe that the set menus shared over whatsapp are very misleading. We are going to a “premium location” paying a hefty sum not to get such a deceptive service and have such a...
Read moreI recently visited Eva Beach House for a pool day and had an extremely disappointing and troubling experience. While we were at the pool, we briefly left our belongings, including my vape, on top of my phone and my friend's items to speak with a friend. Upon our return, we found a man standing next to us, smoking my vape. When confronted, he tried to make a joke of the situation, while his friend excused his behavior by claiming he was drunk. This is clear theft, and their response was completely inappropriate.
The situation worsened as the two men proceeded to ask us intrusive questions, making us feel extremely uncomfortable in the pool and in our swimwear. Despite repeatedly asking them to leave us alone, they continued to disregard our requests.
We reported the theft and harassment to the service team, who assured us that a manager would address the issue with the individuals involved. Unfortunately, no such action was taken. As a result, not only was our property stolen, but we were also left feeling vulnerable and unsupported by the staff.
This experience has left us deeply disappointed and concerned about the safety and security measures in place at Eva Beach House. I hope the management takes immediate action to address this issue and prevent such occurrences in the future.
Overall, this visit was marred by theft and harassment, and I cannot recommend Eva Beach House until they improve their handling of such...
