A Perfect Stay for Families at Ramada Hotel JBR – Warm Hospitality & Great Location

We recently spent several days at the Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Dubai JBR and had a truly lovely experience as a family of three, including our young daughter. As a frequent traveler and Local Guide, I always look for accommodations that offer a balance of comfort, location, and service — and this hotel delivered on all fronts, with just a few minor areas for improvement.

Location & Accessibility: The hotel’s location is absolutely ideal — right in the heart of Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), one of Dubai’s most vibrant and family-friendly areas. You’re only about 300 meters from the public beach, which is a comfortable 5-minute walk. The beach is beautiful, safe, and well-equipped, and the hotel enhances the experience by providing complimentary beach mats and umbrellas every day. That alone saved us time and money and made beach trips effortless with a toddler.

Family-Friendliness & Hospitality: What really stood out to us was how genuinely kind and attentive the staff were. There is plenty of staff on-site — always ready to assist with a smile — and they made us feel cared for from the first moment. Most importantly, they were exceptionally warm and gentle with our daughter, always saying hello, offering help, or simply acknowledging her presence in a kind way. It’s clear that this hotel is very respectful and welcoming toward children, which makes a huge difference for traveling families. I would absolutely recommend it as a top choice for family travelers in Dubai.

Rooms & Comfort: Our room was incredibly spacious, which is such a relief when you’re traveling with a little one. We also had a kitchenette, which is invaluable for preparing small meals or snacks, especially when you have children. The bathroom was a bit dated, and we noticed it could use a few upgrades, but it was always immaculately cleaned every day. Our room assistant Kali deserves a special mention — he was friendly, punctual, and very attentive every single morning. It’s always comforting to see a familiar face during your stay, especially someone so professional and courteous.

Breakfast: The buffet breakfast included a wide variety of items with both Western and Middle Eastern options, including eggs, cereals, fruits, cold cuts, pastries, and hot dishes. The cappuccino was excellent, but while some food items were quite good, others — particularly the sweets and baked goods — could be improved. It’s by no means bad, but there’s definitely room for enhancement in the pastry section to match the otherwise good selection.

Airport Transfers: One of the most convenient aspects of our stay was the included airport drop-off service when we arrived — smooth, timely, and stress-free. We also booked a return transfer to the airport, which was paid but equally efficient. If you're arriving with family or luggage, I highly recommend arranging your transfer through the hotel for a hassle-free experience.

Final Thoughts: Overall, Ramada Hotel JBR exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, warmth, and convenience. While the property isn’t brand new, it’s well-maintained, exceptionally clean, and operated by a team that truly cares about guest experience. Its location right by the beach, the spacious family-oriented rooms, and the friendly atmosphere make it a standout option for families visiting Dubai. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, welcoming, and well-located hotel with great value for money.

From August 26 to October 4, my family and I booked a vacation in Dubai at the Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Dubai JBR. We have already returned home to Minsk (Belarus), and we are very grateful for our stay at the Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Dubai JBR. We enjoyed everything: 1. The service at the hotel! It was an unforgettable experience! The customer service at the hotel was on par with a 5-star hotel. I know what I'm talking about. As I am the owner of a travel agency. I have lived in luxury hotels in various countries. The service in this hotel began with our reception: everything was nice, friendly, and fast! The receptionist helped us with our luggage and gave us a very polite tour of the room. He was not pushy, but rather humble and did not ask for a tip. The restaurant made us feel at home: it was cozy, clean, and served delicious European food. There was also an Indian flavor station. This added a touch of sophistication. Bravo to the chef! The staff at the restaurant is so nice!!! The guy is such a nice African American! He was feeding the children with a spoon!||And the rest of the restaurant staff were very charming and nice! The guy from Azerbaijan, the girls are all nice and friendly! It's clear that the manager is working with them and has chosen the best employees! I have stayed in multiple hotels across Dubai for many years, including Ragfles, metropolitan, movenpick. I can categorically confirm Ramada Hotel and Suites is above and beyond from then all. Allow me to explain; Firstly the warm, happy welcome you get from the staff at the door. They make you feel excited immediately with their happy attitudes to helping you. The check in is a timely simple process with everything confirmed in a matter of minutes. Coming to my room was a huge surprise. I am checked in for just under two weeks so I was hoping for a nice apartment but was prepared for an ordinary apartment. What I received was extraordinary! I huge apartment with all the amenities of home. If you are expecting gold rims and perfect finishing then maybe it’s not for you but for the price you pay here, in my opinion this is better than any seven star hotel ! The kitchenette facilities are such a god send especially when holidaying with children. A very spacious living room and excellent dining area. A good size fridge fit your essentials and lots of storage space all over the apartment. Plenty of towels and toiletries and fresh bottled water supplied every day. The cleaning staff are outstanding. So friendly and chatty and ensure your space is left fresh and clean every day. Now the most important part- the location. We could not have found a better location in the whole of Dubai if we tried. It takes me and my son less than 200 seconds to walk into the beach! And the amount of eateries and shops we see along the route are great. Situated at one end of the jbr strip you are in the best place to see the epic super cars, top restaurants and all the fun of the arcades and stores of jbr! The sizzling sun of the summer here can’t stop you from enjoying everything here as AC is everywhere and as you walk past places you get a good respite of cool air. And if it all does get too much in the heat then you are a few mins from your apartment to cool off and even enjoy the pool at the hotel. A little smaller than other pools at hotels but the service makes up for it. The cafes and shops in the hotel are brilliant too and room service is also available anytime. The staff here are all motivated and happy to help. You can tell as you walk around that they love working here and are available to say hello and help at all times. I still have just under a week to go here but please accept this review as honest and true. I am usually the first to complain when something isn’t right and I would never recommend something if it wasn’t perfect for me. But genuinely I cannot see myself ever staying anywhere else during my visits to Dubai! Tram and metro stations in walking distance and I can see the Dubai marina from my room too!
