Marina Beach is an absolute gem of beaches in Dubai, that in my opinion deserves its 5 stars. When I visited Dubai, I was staying in Marina, and this beach was fairly close to me. What i can say? Marina Beach does offer an exceptional beach experience for everyone. Its packed with great views, many restaurants and tons of places to lay down and relax.

Big advantage of this beach that it has few changing rooms and showers along its way. Changing rooms are free to use, showers do require a fee tho. However, it's essential to note that the showers do close after 19:00 (By closing I mean no way of buying tokens to activate the showers. If you buy tokens beforehand then you are free to use showers after 19:00) during the month of July, so plan accordingly to make the most of this facility. Also be careful with hot water in showers, due to its being heated by the sun all day, so if you want a colder shower, its better make your way to your hotel.

During the summer season (I was visiting in July), the water at Marina Beach is very warm, making it very comfortable to swim in. The water kind of reminds me of jacuzzi water in terms of the temperature. While the water offers comfortable experience, do keep in mind that the sand can get extremely hot due to the intense sun during summer, so be prepared with footwear or plan your visit during the evening times, approximately after 17:30

Marina Beach is undoubtedly a pretty popular place among tourist and Marina residents, especially during the evening hours. However, the sizes of the beach ensures that there is always space available, I never felt squeezed by the people around me. If you want even less people during evening hours, I'm pretty sure private beaches are still open until the certain times.

But what if you are hungry after your swim? Marina Beach truly spoils you with choice. There are tons of restaurants nearby that offer an array of different world kitchens where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I personally recommend "Eggspectation" for breakfast meal. But do keep in mind that most of restaurants there might be on the pricier side, so if you travelling on the budget, its better to visit the nearby...
