AquaFun Dubai Water Park - Official — Attraction in Dubai

We have visited the park three times previously and again visited today. We were extremely disappointed. The inflatable course is completely covered in barnacles which we were not informed of until we were out there. If we would have known this before going onto the course we wouldn’t have done it as this was not something previously causing an issue. Today however we both suffered injuries, I fell on the inflatable and deeply sliced my toe on the barnacles and my partner used the step to get back onto the inflatable and suffered multiple deep cuts to his shin. This caused pain and discomfort. Once back to the hotel we really began to question what we paid over 200aed for as we were on the course for less than 30mins because of our injuries and instead spent the evening with plasters and bandages on. The ‘first aid’ rep assisted us but didn’t offer any form of apology or even any water. We brought water with us but this is besides the point. I also question how sanitary the life jackets are as mine had a stench to it. I personally will not be going back or recommending this to anyone else, it’s seems to be past it’s best.

Response to your reply- I do not appreciate your level of sarcasm. I had previously left a 5* trip advisor review when I first visited. As mentioned though our experience yesterday was a 1* at best. I’m pleased to hear you are investing in your business however this makes no difference to myself or my partner from the experience we had and injuries suffered. Thank you for the offer of VIP passes however we don’t wish to return and will also not be in the country. I would like a refund for the pain you have caused by selling a ticket to a product which is unsafe and not fit for purpose at this current moment in time. I fail to believe that you are complying with the relevant health and safety legislation. You also need to make drastic changes to your customer service. Your on beach staff are rude, when we found ourselves with injuries you were not apologetic and then upon responding to my review you were sarcastic. This business really leave a lot to be desired. Recently I have been to a wonderful place of fun and enthusiasm called “AquaFun Waterpark”. It is located in JBR Marina Beach, near to the hotel at which we have stayed, Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, an exclusive resort for all expectations and requirements.

The water park itself mainly consists of a great variety of slides, different parkour attractions and enormous trampolines. From the beginning of your immersive journey into this water adventure, to the laughter, accompanied by memorable moments created throughout the way, you’ll feel like everything is at its finest level. Regarding the prices and other services, I would say that they are pretty good for anyone who wishes a unique and affordable experience. For instance, me and my sister were provided with free water shoes, life vests, two bottles of water and two water park bracelets, so that we could enter the park safely. There were gentle and careful staff all over the water park, so that they could prevent any injury or incidents from happening. Therefor, in this kind of environment, you will definitely feel protected, needless to say that the excitement and happiness will surely guide you along the way.

This water park is heartedly recommended by many other tourists which were there, saying that everything reached their expectations. There is nothing that I didn’t enjoy while I took part into this experience, so it was perfect to me as well!

All in all, AquaFun Waterpark has quite a lot to offer, being suitable for all ages and that is why I would totally recommend it to anyone that is keen on spending some qualitative time the with loved ones or even alone, as this place was certainly at the top of my list. So,...

Extremely Disappointed – Not Safe for Kids

I took 10 kids to Aqua Fun for my daughter’s birthday, and the experience was a complete letdown. Right from the start, the communication was terrible – I never received a confirmation email after booking, and I had to follow up multiple times just to get the disclaimer form the day of the event, which I then had to rush to all the parents.

When we got there, it was chaotic. They had mixed up my party with someone else’s, gave us the wrong wristbands, and when we pointed it out, the staff were unhelpful and even rude. The overall coordination was extremely poor.

They claimed there would be lockers, but we were given an unsecured plastic bin where anyone could access our belongings – no security, no privacy.

Worst of all, one of the children got a severe finger injury from one of the slides (multiple cuts), and we saw other guests also get hurt – including someone who scraped their face badly. Clearly, the place is not safe, especially for children.

While a staff member named Anu did try to help, the overall management and safety standards were shockingly low. I would not recommend this place for family events or kids’ outings. Aqua Fun seriously needs to fix their operations, attitude, and most importantly – their safety measures.
