Bla Bla Dubai — Restaurant in Dubai

This review directly to the manager of bla bla I am regular Custmer every Tuesday I come there with freinds and I bring a lot of Freinds because we like lasanta and the vibes of club just we came to enjoy all security and bartenders know me and respect me and I respect everyone there but tonight one of the girls who work in reception she didn’t allow me to go inside bcs she said that I am wearing sport she allow my freinds and she said for them welcome beautiful girls like she has a problem specially with me she treat me very bad even when the security say to her that I am regular but she is really unprofessional she must respect the Custmer’s and she must behave very good not like unprofessional and she even didn’t smile horrible I hope the manager can take a good decision about her to know how she can receive the Custmer’s not to take salary for unprofessional work tonight with me happened this problem tomorrow will happened with others I am really disappointed because of her behave how she act for the Custmer I was happy to go there and it’s ladies night she don’t have the right to treat any lady there is this jealousy or what ! And in instagram they didn’t mention dress code and also I came before with same clothes what I wear it tonight so she has really mind problem with me specially I think what I know the woman can’t treat other woman with that words really is very bad experience with her if you she will continue in same position believe me you will not have...

We very nearly missed this club. From the beach entrance to Bla Bla looking through the windows it looked empty. I asked a security guard on the beach if there is a club and he pointed at the top of the venue and told us we needed to walk around back towards the street.

At the entrance we were told to enter it was a minimum 1000AED spend between two of us (approx £220 $280 USD). That was fine for us but there were lots of people leaving the queue after being told this.

We were walked to a table in the venue and had a server who would bring us drinks whenever we wanted them. They took payment for the tab. All of the drinks were reasonably priced, on par with what you'd expect in central London around £8-10 (approx $10-13USD) per drink. I didn't think we'd spend our tab but we did just slightly by about 100 AED.

The music, lighting, seating areas and general atmosphere were on point. The DJ was excellent all through the night.

Honestly, its the best club I've been to for a very long time, except for one thing.

A club like this in London (or anywhere I've been for that matter) would remove the tables from the dance floor in front of the DJ set when it starts to get busy.

Having tables in the middle of the dance floor just makes it a bit awkward. That would be the only downside. But I would 100% recommend a visit here if you are looking for a night out.

Me and a group of friends attend the Friday evening brunch. 8 of us in total. Firstly the venue itself is amazing. The decor, the layout and the views are spot on. The brunch itself however was extremely disappointing. Whether this was down to the management or the serving staff on the day. To start we were given a menu with set options and set drinks. Fine, perfectly normal. But then the waiter explained(surely incorrectly) that we were only entitled to 4 small starter plates per table. So 4 starters between 8 of us. After raising this with the supervisor, we got this sorted. The drink options are good but, the drinks did seem quite weak. Not expected in a higher end venue. The service was very slow to say it wasn't particularly busy. If we wanted to go to the bar ourselves we were told we weren't allowed and had to wait for the table service. At one point a member of our group liked the look of one of the mocktails that was on the inclusive menu. Tried to order this with vodka (also included in the menu), to be told this wasn't allowed and was refused service. As was everyone else on the table that attempted to order the vodka without a mixer.

So to sum up, the place looked great and had a good vibe. Looks like a great time could be had. My only issue is with the brunch, service and silly little rules. 8/10 for the settings. 4/10 for brunch experience....
