I arrived at the hotel around 10:00 AM. I had been informed in advance that check-in was at 2:00 PM. I waited, exhausted, until then, but at 2:00 PM, I was told that my room was not yet ready due to high occupancy and that I needed to wait another 10–20 minutes. I didn't mind and waited, but after 20 minutes, they kept saying "just 10 more minutes" repeatedly, making me wait until 3:00 PM. I stayed in an Executive room, which had an internal door leading to the adjacent room. On the third night of my stay, I woke up to the smell of cigarette smoke and the sound of snoring. It felt as if someone was smoking right next to me and blowing the smoke into my room. I realized that the door to the other room had no insulation whatsoever. The guest in the adjacent room was smoking inside, and all the smoke was coming into my room. Additionally, I could hear every sound from that room. I reported this to the management, and they addressed the issue by informing the other guest. The problem was somewhat resolved, but I felt the need to write about all of this after my experience at check-out. I informed the reception staff around 9:00 PM that I would be checking out at 5:00 AM and needed a commercial invoice for my company. However, the invoice was not prepared in advance. I was told that it was a simple two-minute task that could be handled during check-out. I agreed. At 5:00 AM, during check-out, I requested my invoice. I wrote down my company's details on a piece of paper and handed it to the receptionist. He said the information was too long and that their system would not accept it. I told him to enter as much as possible. After 10 minutes, he handed me a printed document, but my company name was misspelled, the address field was completely empty, and the tax number was missing. When I objected, he simply said, "Sorry, that's how the system works." I then asked him to at least write the city, country, and tax number by hand, but instead of helping, he started assisting other customers. I wrote the missing details on the invoice myself and then asked for a stamp, intending to make the invoice official by having it stamped and signed. This would have also made the receptionist’s job easier, but he claimed they had no stamp. I asked how the invoice could be official without a stamp, but he showed no interest or concern. In conclusion, if you want to experience these kinds of issues, feel free to stay at this hotel.

I just loved it ....And those who know me I am not easy to please. The location is awesome ...Across the Creek watching the dhows ply by and an unmistakeable old world charm. The staff is uber friendly and I wonder how they all can service with a smile constantly. The room I got was amazing overlooking the Creek and the dubai of yore. The old souks are a walking distance and the colorful Naif .. Deira market just a short stroll away. The hotel is super well maintained and very classy with a strong heritage feel. Food is primarily asian and arabic and the non experimental Indian traveller may find it a challange. The breakfast was amazing with a fine dining experience. Plush carpets, lovely comfy fabric sofas, oil paintings adorning the wall with arabic cultural installations ....It was a peaceful and memorable experience. I would recommend this highly to the old world feel explorers.

I have been staying here for several times since 2014, every time I come to Dubai this is the hotel I booked. I stopped coming since covid happened. After 4 years I am back again at this vibrant city. What can I say. The service is still as excellent as before. Mr Wael, the sales manager entertained all my request since I made the booking. Wael is friendly and very accomodating. All the Front Office staffs, Abdelrahman, n few others whom I forgot their names were very friendly and gracious. The concierge Nazeer and Mohamad, driver Riaz and Syaed were kind and polite. The room attendant Hady is so attentive n caring. The room is always very clean when I come back, spotless is the word. Hady is creative and always made the bed beautiful. Always greeting me wth his warm smile. Room price is affordable. Riviera is more like the 90's boutique hotel. Well maintained and a touch of the Middle Eastern decor. Very near to shopping area Dheira, just 2 minutes walk you can shop everything you need, 5 minutes walk to the Metro station, and you cannot run out of eatery outlets, plenty of food in Dheira. The sous chef is very friendly too, food is good, the breakfast selection is wide, oatmeal is splendid, it caters to all nationalities. I tried the a la carte, definitely not a disappoinment, the set lunch was very good until I came back for more for dinner.|The room is spacious, it has its own closet area which is an advantage. A lot of room if you have lots of luggage. The creek view is breathtaking. So be sure to book that room category. Room is not that contemporary but it's cozy and large n very clean n comfortable, which is important.||I will definitely come back and stay here again with my family.||Thank you to the team at Riviera, All of you are truly an expert in your field of work. The best service. I don't think I need to stay in a 5 star hotel in the city cos all of you made it hard fro me to choose another hotel.||Thank you for making my stay wonderful. Thank you to the service staffs at the coffee house for your excellent service as well.||Kudos. Salam from 🩷||Amilia...

Exceptional Stay at Reviera Hotel Dubai

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Reviera Hotel in Dubai, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.

The hotel itself is immaculate, reflecting high standards of cleanliness and comfort. Its prime location is undoubtedly one of the best, making it a perfect choice for travelers. The food was nothing short of excellent, offering a delicious international buffet infused with the rich flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine. The breakfast chef was not only highly professional but also genuinely caring—engaging with every guest, explaining the dishes, and even personally ensuring the dining area was perfectly maintained.

The hospitality at Reviera Hotel is truly remarkable. Without hesitation, I would rate the entire staff five stars—from the exceptional hotel manager, Mr. Mustapha, to the dedicated porter, Omar. Mr. Mustapha's professionalism and kindness stood out when I faced an issue with my booking due to an honest mistake. I had unintentionally selected the wrong dates through a third-party platform (Expedia), but he graciously approved the cancellation and even reached out to Expedia on my behalf. His generosity extended beyond this gesture, as he personally invited me for tea at his desk—a level of hospitality I had never experienced at any other hotel before.

Special thanks go to porter Nazeem for his kindness in lending a phone charger to my niece, as well as to front desk manager Abdul Rahman, whose professionalism and warm hospitality went above and beyond expectations.

I genuinely felt at home during my stay, and I am truly grateful to the entire Reviera Hotel team for making it such a memorable experience. Without a doubt, I will be returning in the future.

Thank you all!

Kind...
