DO NOT COME HERE!! If I could rate this place in stars I would give it as many under zero as possible. My 81 year old grandmother travelled over 200 miles to rush down to Somerset to visit my terminally ill Grandpa and her 98 year old brother who had just been rushed to hospital , and was turned away at the door for being half an hour late to check in as she had to stop to receive a call from her family to understand what was happening. Stressed and exhausted she was turned away in peak season with no where to sleep miles away from home. IT GETS WORSE... she recieved disgustingly rude messages saying she didn't understand check in times and it was not acceptable that she was half an hour late and that she should have used hands free in her car... she does not have that. On another note, she woke up to find that she had been charged the price for the night and that they had reported that she never showed up which is untrue. The people were rude in person and over text when she is already struggling and needed somewhere to sleep. I would highly recommend sleeping in a nearby field with the cows would be a nicer experience than even ATTEMPTING to stay here! I find it ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! A horrendous experience for my poor...

I could've just said that the room was okay, but a bit small. Most of the space is taken by bed, one chair and a chest of drawers. BUT, that is nothing comparing to what happened after my check-out.
As you may know, almost every hotel or B&B room in the UK has a tea/coffee tray for guests. This normally includes a kettle, mugs, spoons, and some tea bags, instant coffees, sugar and sweetener. It assumes that tea/coffee tray would be included in the room charge. Therefore, I took some tea bags away.
The same morning after I checked out, I received an email from the host which I found offensive. Mick and Tracey (the host) accused me of taking away all the tea bags which I didn't drink. They also mentioned that they searched the rubbish bin after me, and didn't find any used tea bags there. What a shame!
Luckily, I didn't take any instant coffees, sugar or sweetener from the tea tray. They may consider that as a robbery. Now, I am unsure if I could use their towels, tap water, soap and power sockets.
Be aware! This B&B is full of rules. There is a multi-page booklet in the room which lists every single thing you can't do while staying in the B&B.

Read moreBooked in this b&b for a wk, the owners from arriving to booking out were really rude and unwelcoming, were really rude to my daughter that she needed to use the bathroom, they were not allowed to stay for 5 minutes, my disabled sister had to use a flite of stairs, there was no help from either Mike or Tracy, Mike was really rude at breakfast time, he even stopped giving us strawberries on our fruit salad, we had to check out for 10am, by 9.45am we were outside waiting for our lift, with all our luggage, Mike did not even say goodbye, tracy could not get us outside and shut the door on us, just as well it was not raining. So the rudeness to my family, the fact that my dear sister having to climb of stairs. And the rudeness we were shown for the week we were in Glastonbury, it was a nightmare!!! No one should be shown this manner, I would NOT RECOMMEND this b&b to anyone. I could go on and on about the rudeness we had to encounter for a wk. If you have a disability or a eating problem I am gluten disorder, think twice before you book. The location is fine, the room is lovely and food is lovely, shame about the host's We stayed 6th July to...
