This lady Denise was just amazing She cares so much for the guests and doesn’t just provide a service she offers you a supportive ear a shoulder to cry on I was in a bad place and she was so kind to me and I honestly love her to pieces The hotel was immaculate she tended to every need and the atmosphere was incredible I’ve never met a person like her I’ve travelled the world but this place is a gem and Denise peacock is a rare diamond Please ignore any negative reviews it’s just not true she’s a kind hearted ladies who is kind to anyone no matter what race she treats you like family …. Just back from a four night stay at the Berkswell apartment, / rooms ( in Blackpool ) they are very homely and roomy and spotlessly clean. They have all your home comforts that I think you will enjoy. Location is fantastic close to the sand castle and pleasure beach and a Wetherspoons on the corner, very handy for (good food ) and last but definitely not least. Denise ( the owner) what a lovely helpful woman she is, nothing is too much for her. If we needed anything she would say just phone or knock on the door and she was always there with a smile, we as a family of five thought she was great. We will definitely be back. Five stars...

While the property itself was clean and well-maintained, our experience was negatively impacted by the host’s discriminatory attitude. Upon arrival, the host made it clear she was not comfortable with Black guests and expressed this in a rude and unacceptable way. She was cold, dismissive, and made us feel very unwelcome. It’s deeply upsetting that such behaviour still happens in 2025, especially on a platform that promotes inclusivity. I hope Airbnb reviews this host’s behaviour seriously, as no guest should be made to feel uncomfortable or judged because...
