The Hosts: Nikki and Eddie were super friendly and very welcoming. They're always around if you need something but I can bet they've thought of it before you have. They made time out of their day to ensure you're having fun and were always on hand to offer recommendations. The communication before the stay was quick and easy.
The Room: Considering it was a Georgian terrace, it was surprisingly spacious. The décor is modern throughout and extremely clean and tidy. The stairs were in fact not narrow and thin but actually quite wide and easy to walk up. We stayed in room #1. The room, again, was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, the en-suite had a shower, toilet and sink - shower gel, shampoo + conditioner was provided too. The room also contained a TV (Netflix, Prime, Freeview), a mini fridge with milk and cold water, and there were a few nibbles in the room too. The fact that the room overlooked the beach just added to how impressed we were! The B&B also provided a selection of books and board games that were available to all.
The Breakfast: Delicious! Eddie cooks a great English breakfast but his skills doesn't end there. The perfect poached egg with smashed avocado on sourdough toast hit the spot too. Nikki was a wonderful hostess at breakfast time and did everything possible to ensure you had a great breakfast.
The Location: Excellent location - a 5 minute walk from the train station, a 10 minute walk to the town centre, a 15 minute walk to the harbour - all along the seafront. Perfect! Just outside the B&B was a small shingle section of Weymouth Beach but sand is exposed when the tide goes out. The beach was very quiet compared to the sandy section a bit further down. The location would suit people who want to be close to the main town but far enough away to escape the crowds.
