Great little shop with a wide-range of hobby essentials. Staff are friendly and helpful - when I had a query about a particular product, I had one staff member working with me trying to figure it out using math whilst another was doing online research! The only "downside" from our experience was that the width of offerings for different systems and games mean that many didn't have any "depth" - for example whilst they had Warhammer-branded products, there wasn't much of a selection to choose from, and a lot of it was from the previous edition which is now a couple of months out of print, or D&D being limited to a shelf of the most common source books and racks of miniatures, but not much else. I'm sure that they'd be happy to order in anything you wanted, but it doesn't have the same thrill of an impulse purchase.

That said, we spent about £100 there, so I guess they're doing...

Having arrived in Weymouth for a mini break our Grandson spotted “Boss Miniatures and Gaming”on our first evening…as it was Sunday evening store was closed.

We paid a visit to the shop,the first thing the next morning The Gentleman in charge was very kind helpful and patient, with grandson who wanted to trade Pokémon cards, for the first time.

Just to say a huge Thank you to the Gentleman…our Grandson came away a very Happy young man..I sincerely believe the time spent in this shop was the highlight of his break.

Needless to say we had to pay another visit before leaving Weymouth again our boy was happy with his trading.

Our Granddaughter was also very happy with her purchase of a “Zelda” book.. it weighs a ton…glad l didn’t have to carry it all the way back to Lincolnshire…

This year was our second time visiting Boss Miniatures whilst we were away on holiday. This year we went in on my son's birthday for him to spend some of his money on Pokémon cards. Scott was absolutely amazing, so generous with his time, knowledge and a little birthday gift, that my son was absolutely beaming for the rest of the day and was made to feel so special and accepted. It's fast becoming an annual tradition for us to visit, and looking forward to returning again in 2025. We visit lots of Pokémon and gaming shops with my son all over the country, and he consistently has said that this is the best one he's been to, and if we lived closer we would definitely visit more often.
