Where do i start ! Lets start with the parking which is not a car park at all but a yard they cram as many cars in so that they then have the nerve to charge £10 per day, you have to leave your keys so they can move cars around to get people out. No way would i give them my keys as there are insurance implications should the car be stolen or damaged. Then to get to reception you have to walk through their garden, a term i would use very loosely as it’s just some astro turf and plastic tables and chairs but plenty of lightbulbs which was handy later for the combatants fighting out in the road, entering the reception you at first want to congratulate the primary school children that built it then realised this was a serious attempt to make the place welcoming ! After being barked at by reception staff i was told that the nearest parking for residents ( as their car park was full ? ) was a 15 min walk away, i think their concept of time it at odds with the rest of the world as it took almost 25 mins, as a suggestion perhaps a paramedic or at least some mobile oxygen could be provided to make the slog a bit more bearable. I thought that maybe i was over the worst of it, but how wrong i was when i opened the “ Double Room “ and entered a whole new hell !! I think if they housed prisoners in it then reoffending would be reduced by at least 99%, it literally a sweat box, no air-con or even a fan but on the plus side a kind previous resident had left a stick which propped up the window which it wouldn’t do on it’s own. However the walls are so thin i could’ve sworn i heard a mouse cough, but the night had only just started. The amorous couple above my room were very much in love, in fact i believe he was giving it his all and after about half hour it seemed his partner thought she’s better show some interest and then displayed similar athletic prowess with some gusto . Then through the night was a mixture of car alarms, drunk people singing and swearing, the couple upstairs getting rid of whatever they had eaten and was now disagreeing with them. You may have noticed that i wasn’t happy with this hotel ( i use thot term as an act of kindness ), but please please avoid this place at all costs, but if you do book and stay it’s your own fault and don’t blame...

No iron in room. But there was a board outside room so they may have one if you ask! House keeping is not offered daily but this didn't bother us as we were only here for 2 nights.. but we were told bed clothes changes could be made on request as were towels (you're only given 1 small bath towel each) and we were showed where tea/coffee and toilet rolls could be replenished... BUT maybe some bottled water for kettle could be provided until we have chance to go to local shop rather than filling kettle from en suite tap? (Or am I being too fussy?)
Breakfast is plentiful and all you can eat but instead of replenishing when it gets low staff wait until its run out which means people are stood around waiting
Is this a 3* ?... no imo... hotel is VERY tired and needs attention to detail... Bit of bleach in en suite toilet will probably get rid of brown limescale that could be mistaken for something else or a toilet fizz for 40p!!! Mould remover spray or maybe re silicone would make the shower more appealing to wash in!! Carpets need cleaning... doors and skirtings throughout all need painting...
This actually could be a real gem of a hotel if the owners realised what they had and invested for improvements.... Great location and free parking is a bonus! However not worth what we paid (nearly £300 for 2 nights and not even breakfast included in that)... I have no problem paying for anything in its worth.. however, all said there was a big event happening in weymouth the weekend we went and as a last minute decision to go away 99% of places were sold out and this was our only choice.. so kinda get why we possibly over paid!! Would I come again? As it is..No .. but make some decorative changes and maybe include breakfast in the price and i would possibly...
Read moreUnfortunately Terrible! Holiday ruined on arrival.. We do you start. So check in took 3 attempts over 2 and a half hours. I could see they were understaffed and it certainly gave a stressed vibe. Most of the staff were polite & helpful though. Once we found out that parking at the hotel (the main reason we booked) was “no chance”. We then found out we would have to park at The Sawnnary car park which is about a 12 min walk away. You pay a £20 deposit to get a permit. I believe it was £10 a day to park at the hotel and you have to leave your car keys with reception. So we parked on double yellows, unloaded the car and eventually found the room.. Room 6. Upon opening the door and getting knocked out by the stench of what ever had died in there we found the carpets to be riddled with stains from good only knows. The furniture in there was damaged and also covered in tea stains and other stuff. We had 3 towels. Two were grey (should have been black but were so old) stained with bleach and 1 white hand towel which looked ok. I guess these were for 3 people to use for 2 nights. No bath mat or hand towel to dry your hands with. They also don’t service the rooms.. so cups not cleaned or changed, tiny bin not emptied, toilet roll left to run out. So on and so on. You check in.. and your on your own until you check out. Then the best bit! Our room is right about their bar.. the three chimneys or what ever it is called! From around 9pm they have discos/ Karaoke/ rock concerts! And the floor in the room vibes until around 12 midnight! Unbelievable! I don’t know what the owner / management are thinking when we paid £186 per night to SLEEP there! Do not stay here as a family. If you are going to Weymouth on the lash and just need a bed for the night under £200 it would be fine. I can’t stress enough on a Google review how BAD this place is. It’s is not a hotel.. it is nearly a B&B. We will be leave bad review on every platform possible and making a formal complaint. Managment please make contact. Alex Polizzi would have a...
