Just returned home from our three day break celebrating our Anniversary at this delightful B&B. We have been coming to Pitlochry for many, many years and were so pleased at finding this gem! Mark and Helen are the perfect hosts, welcoming us warmly and explaining everything about their beautiful establishment, nothing is too much trouble for them. Complimentary sherry/port and chocolate cake are very much appreciated and a lovely gesture in their lounge. Great selection of soft and alcoholic drinks are also available from their honesty bar which you can enjoy outside on the patio. You have a large choice of locally sourced produce to choose from at breakfast , all beautifully cooked and prepared by Helen ( they make a mean porridge) . Rooms are very tastefully furnished with everything you need, even a mini fridge and iron and iron board . Modern, spotlessly clean bathrooms with luxury toiletries and large fluffy towels were very welcome. Location is wonderful, just behind the Main Street, where you’ll find most of the shops and restaurants five minutes walk away. Would not hesitate to recommend this B&B and look forward to coming back next year. Thank you so much for a wonderful, relaxing stay, also our...

I had a wonderful stay at Carra Beag Guest House. The setting is incredibly welcoming, and the house itself is a beautiful old Victorian building full of character. I stayed in a twin room, which was spacious and had a lovely bath — a real treat after a day of exploring.||Breakfast was a highlight: you could select what you wanted, and it was freshly prepared each morning. There was plenty of choice, and everything tasted great. The guest house also has a cozy lounge, warmly decorated, with board games and lots of brochures about things to do in the area.||Although I hadn’t planned my trip very well, I quickly realized this is the perfect spot for people who enjoy hiking and mountain walks. The surroundings are stunning, and I would absolutely return, both for the beautiful setting and the guest house itself.||The service was excellent, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and overall I couldn’t recommend Carra Beag Guest House more highly. A true gem...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Fantastic Stay at The Carra Beag Guesthouse

Stayed here on a fishing trip with friends and had an incredible experience. The Carra Beag has a beautiful garden with great views, and the building was being freshly redecorated — very well looked after.

We were greeted by Mark, who was brilliant: friendly, funny, and super helpful. I stayed in Room 9, which had its own private street entrance — a great touch for added privacy. The room was clean, cosy, and full of traditional Scottish charm.

Breakfasts were excellent thanks to Helen, with a great selection and flexibility to suit preferences. Even the shampoo and conditioner had a lovely whisky and honey nut scent!

The best surprise was the honesty bar in the lounge — help yourself to drinks and note it down. It made the place feel like staying at a mate’s house.

All in all, the best place we’ve stayed in Pitlochry. Highly...

I had chosen Pitlochry and the Carra Beag Guest House as the last stop on my tour of Scotland - and what can I say, that was a wise decision. The service was great, and the host and his wife always took the time to chat about the local sights, recommend restaurants or simply get to know each other a little. Especially recommended: the Scottish breakfast - tastes very good and strengthens you for the upcoming activities, such as a visit to the local distillery or a hike up Ben Vrackie. The rooms were also very well equipped, I didn't want for anything. The town of Pitlochry is so picturesque, you could easily mistake it for a movie set. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay at Carra Beag Guest House. Highly recommended!!! Below are a few pictures of my hike up Ben Vrackie (you have to see the view)

This is an ideal location to stay as its right in the centre of the town. A short walk and your in the heart of Pitlochry. This is our first stay here for 2 nights but we shall definitely be returning. Our breakfast this morning was superb. Porridge with honey and milk. Followed by a full breakfast with locally sourced produce. ( the haggis was particularly tasty). Our room was immaculately clean and lovely and warm. Beds are so so comfortable. Teas and coffee facility in our room. Also there's a small fridge. The lounge downstairs is welcoming with chocolate cake and sherry to try. All round a fabulous guest house 🏠.

Really cute guest house run by a lovely couple. We stayed for two nights in Pitlochry. The hotel is very close to the town center and a great spot to start hikes from (or have a short walk to the lovely distillery Blair Athol!). The breakfast was home cooked every day and the rooms were quite cute. There's about 7 parking spots available at the back of the guest house. Amazing value for money at this place! PS: loved the vegetarian sausage for breakfast!
