April 2024 stay
We had the most beautiful stay at Number 9! We booked the house for a bridal shower for my sister. She wanted a very chilled and cosy time with her closest friends and family and this house delivered this and so much more.
The communal areas were exceptional and had so much space for people to relax in, including a beautiful living room, fully equipped kitchen diner with bar and den attached with the most exquisite outdoor space with hot tub.
Leeann was super helpful and so organised with our booking. She could not do any more for us and was so so accommodating. She booked us the most beautiful private dining experience for the Saturday night. This experience was phenomenal, Kevin and Ollie from Small World Tapas provided the dining experience and created the best food alongside doing all the service and cleaning, the kitchen looked spotless when they left.
We had the option of adding on things to our booking, we only needed to ask and Leeann could sort for us. The rooms were beautiful and the hot water in the showers were fabulous after a dip in the hot tub.
10/10 would recommend booking this accommodation if you wanted a stay for a big group, itâs spacious and has lots of break off areas to chill and...
Read moreThis a fantastic house, perfectly located just outside the centre of Torquay (8/10 minute walk). We were a family of 10 plus dog, staying for 7 nights over the Christmas period. Leeann was a great host and the house was decorated for the season. The entrance/hallway/main living room is a real feature as you enter. All rooms have high ceilings giving feeling of space and light, most beds have en suite. We made lots of use of the hot tub throughout the days. The cinema room was largely used for the X box, mainly because watching Christmas films in the main living room with the open fire going was a great thing. Our favourite restaurant was the Italian âAmiciâ and we also had a great Thai meal at Junjaow. We werenât quite as successful at finding the right pub - but had a couple of nice drinking sessions on the rooftop of the Harvester overlooking the quay. We had a fun afternoon with the kids at the bowling alley, which also has pool tables, bar, arcade (you pass it as you walk to town). Easy access by car to supermarkets - Sainsburyâs, Aldi etc and on foot to local Co-op. Really hard to fault this property or our host. Thanks again for...
Read moreLeeann was an exceptional owner to liaise with. Really approachable and friendly to talk to about any questions we had about the property. The property itself was just out of this world, really beautifully decorated with easy to use instructions (for the hot tub, projector etc), and well equip with everything from pots and pans, to cutlery and essentials to get you started. I will definitely be coming here again, such a lovely place. Every room feels like an ensuite with bathrooms right next door, so is just perfect for families, couples, big groups and friends. Thank you for making my mum's 60th...
