Stayed for the illuminations. Rez is a great guy, met us at the end of the rd so we didn't get lost. He took my case up for me The room was bright, lovely set up, nice and clean, my ensuit was a shower, which with my mobility issues was great, there were KitKat's for the kids, which they appreciated and bottles of water for us, also shampoo and soap, tissues and antibacterial rub provided, It's in easy reach of the south peir walking and there's a tram and bus stop right across the road. I'm a very light sleeper, the noise wasn't an issue at night. It's just a minute from the beach. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend the Mardonia.

The best thing about Mardonia is it is very close to the beach. Very close to South and Central pier. Well connected to the restaurants and take aways. It is a family run business and both the partners were very friendly, helpful & always cheerful. The hotel is very well maintained, nice, neat and clean. It was shock that it was 1800s’ building and still stand good! We were there with our 18months little one and we enjoyed our good stay. Like other guest house and hotels in Blackpool, there is NO dedicated car parking available however the central beach car park is just 5mins walk from hotel.

Great value, quiet little B&B near South Pier. St Chads tram stop is 2 minutes walk away. I had a clean and comfortable room with ensuite. I would stay there again

Stayed here for 3 nights with family. My sister and I shared a Twin Room, and overall, it was a fantastic stay!

The room was super comfy and clean, though the WiFi could've been better. The location was great - just a 2-minute walk to the beach, which was perfect. It's a bit further (about a 20-minute walk) from the main attractions up the promenade, but honestly, that's reflected in the very reasonable price. Plus, being slightly away from the busiest areas made it feel a bit more relaxed.

Breakfast was really nice, but the real standout was the staff. They welcomed us like old friends and were just brilliant throughout our stay. We did have one unfortunate incident - my stepdad's car got hit while it was parked on the narrow street outside. Totally not the hotel's fault, but parking in the area isn't ideal, so that's something to keep in mind. To their credit, the hotel staff were amazing about it. They informed us right away and offered to help in any way they could, which we really appreciated.

All in all, a lovely stay with fantastic hospitality. Would definitely come back - just maybe without the...

Fantastic little hotel. Can't praise the place enough. The host was a lovely gentleman who let us check in early so we could attend the air show. Our room was immaculate with plenty of storage space to hang up our clothes for the weekend. There was plenty of plug sockets too so we were able to charge all of our devices at the same time overnight. They provided tea/coffee making facilities for us with a little extra touch of a chocolate biscuit. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Location was very quiet so we had a peaceful good nights sleep on both nights of our stay.|The bathroom was quite big and was stocked up with fresh towels and toiletries such as soap, body wash and shampoo. This is a hidden gem of a place to stay in Blackpool. It's a bit far out but would be perfect if you're going to the pleasure beach. We don't mind a walk though so it was fine for us. It was worth the walk for the silent...

IMPORTANT POINT THAT IS NOT MADE CLEAR- YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BRING ALCOHOL OR FOOD INTO YOUR ROOM!! This is not made clear anywhere before booking and I think it’s an important thing to mention, we were made aware once we had paid for and were checking in to the hotel. If we knew about this before hand we would not have booked, we booked this hotel for a romantic weekend away which we would have liked to have had a bottle of wine in our £120 room without feeling like a criminal. The hotel was clean and tidy but room was pretty small. The outside looks a bit rough but once inside it’s fine. We had ladder propped up outside our window and in the morning had some builder climbing up past our window at 10am. Overall the hotel was nice but would not stay again due to ridiculous rules put in place. We left a night early||OWNER- YOU NEED TO MAKE YOUR RULES CLEAR...
