I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time. Upon arrival the restaurant only had one customer on a Sunday evening which I found weird, I’m normally dubious when it comes to entering establishments with hardly any customers as they typically tend to ask ‘how the food is’ constantly and sadly this was the case. When we sat down we were given menus and when it came to the ordering because my friend didn’t know what to get then when she decided the waiter kept pushing to order even more food which I personally felt like he was taking advantage of the situation. I specifically asked for a dish that wasn’t too spicy yet the one he recommended was very spicy. The food did take long to come. The Afgani tikka chicken wasn’t cooked properly however the peshwari naan, samosa chaat and the masala chips were fantastic the curry would have been up there had it not been for the extreme spice (I can handle spicy food). We also felt uncomfortable because the waiters kept pacing up and down as they seemed bored but use every opportunity to glance at our table to see if they needed to do anything. The drinks were okay. Ambience could be better. Hope you take on these pointers and improve as this restaurant has so much potential.

My husband and I were initially going to try a vegan Vietnamese restaurant on Kingsland Rd but when we saw this place had a separate vegan and vegetarian menu, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to try the food. The man who served us was very polite and friendly and explained the various vegan and vegetarian options. The poor guy was on his own that night, but he did really well in explaining the situation and gave us complimentary pappadums and sauces while we waited for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. We had the vegan meatball curry, the tofu tikka Lababdar, the mushroom curry, samosas, and vegetable rice. Everything was super tasty and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for vegan or vegetarian Indian food.

Absolutely lovely space, the vegan meal I tried was fablous, full of good love and skills chefs have put in it. The drink is of vibrant colours. The Chilli Tofu made in Indian spices is a good starter. I liked their main of Ticca Spinach Special, of which their home-baked tortilla bread is wonderful - imagine you were eating soft smooth portions of a beautiful day clouds ^^. The vegan brownie is served hot from the plate, so a bonus. Liked the strawberry and mulberry as food art deco too. The colleagues/owners were attentive to you and interested in going forward to vegan 100%. Highly recommended to vegan friends.

Great food but absolute shambolic mess when it comes to organisation. I phoned through my order and was told it would be around 20 minutes. I waited….and waited…to kill the time I asked if I could pay the bill, but when I was presented with the bill, I was told that I’d ordered a plain naan and a keema naan. I corrected them and said that I’d only ordered a plain naan. I waited some time for the bill to be corrected, then I noticed that there was no onion bhaji’s on the order. I pointed this out and then waited again for the corrected bill to come to me. After a time the staff member that was dealing with me then came up to me and read my order to me which still included the keema naan! I then had to tell him once again that I hadn’t ordered a keema naan! This obviously caused more confusion. Finally after about another 10 minutes, I got the billl. I checked it and it was, to my relief, correct. As I was paying the bill, one of the other staff members walked out of the kitchen and said “no keema naan then?!” And stormed back into the kitchen. I should have taken note at this point, but all I wanted to do was get home after waiting about 30 mins longer than intended. When I got home I found that, even though I’d paid for them, there were no onion bhajis n the order. I phoned up to complain and was told that I’d get some onion bhajis on the house next time I go there. THats good of them, considering I’ve paid for them anyway. To close this out, I’m absolutely convinced that due to their mess up taking the order with a keema naan (their mistake), that they made me pay for their mistake by removing a dish that...

Went there to break our fast. Pre ordered our meals and was told it would arrive in 45mins. That was a lie. Very Poor customer service. Did not even apologise or come to update us that the food was going to arrive late. Everyone else in the restaurant had received and some had even finished their meals. No one acknowledged us. Had to call someone over myself and ask why our food was late. It had been well over an hour. Response was I will answer your question in a minute. Waiter did not come back? When the food did eventually come, I would rate it as the following Lamp chops- 0/10 bland dont order Wings- 2/10 bland don’t waste your money Pain puri- 5/10 standard Samosa chaat- 5/10 standard Masala chips- 10/10 very nice Butter chicken- 0/10 we got tiny leftover broken chicken pieces. We was fed up by then to even bother complaining. Chicken jalfrezi- 5/10 standard Garlic naan bread-7/10 Chicken biryani- 7/10

Total £98 however we felt they did not deserve service charge. Cheeky to even put it on there after ignoring us the whole evening.

Waiter came over midway to ask how our meal was we all just looked at him and said we can talk in private later. He just laughed and left. We didn’t go there last minute, we had a booking, we also arrived 30mins before our booking time. So it’s not like they had to squeeze us in or something. It’s an overhyped tiktok restaurant. I personally wouldn’t go again. You can find better customer service in a chicken and chip shop...
