Sooooo disappointed, yet again, smh🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ EVERY SINGLE TIME the guys FORGETS something. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'm done. EDIT: in response to Chamomile reply. Your point is understandable, but I’ve been coming to this cafe since I was 13 years old, it started with my father who used to buy your baguettes and croissants because he was of the opinion that it was the closest to a proper French baguette and croissant as we could get in the uk, and I continued coming to Chamomile up into my 30’s (I am now 32) and the quality of the baked goods and the service definitely took a hit the last 5-6 years. I have given Chamomile a chance again recently, my partner and my daughter in particular still enjoy the sandwich’s and toasties you have to offer, and in all honesty, the last three times we’ve ordered I was only disappointed once so there has been a definite improvement in service. I do not agree with you that leaving a bad review is unfair, because I and others have left bad reviews you have attempted to improve the service which is very pleasing, you are showing you care about the opinion of long standing customers and I will happily continue to come to Chamomile as long as the service continues to improve. But, I would like to know why sometimes the baguettes taste as if I’ve bought them from a supermarket bread counter? I was surprised the other day when instead of a light, airy, crunchy baguette I received something much denser and thicker and less like the amazing original baguette Chamomile has always provided, that was quite a disappointment. Thank you for your response. I look forward to coming to...

I have been coming here on and off for about 8 years. First, I really enjoyed the staff and the food was okayish. It was also the only real cafe on Englands Lane back then. Then the owner changed, the food went from mediocre to boring, the good staff left and other places opened up on the block. Neither of them were/are stellar but there was a choice and I tried them all, leaving Chamomile to sort itself out. Finally today, after not having been for a year, I went back! And the menu has vastly changed and improved and grown. I had a beef burger with haloumi and sweet potato fries..the beef comes from the awesome butcher across the road. The patty was slightly overdone but that may be health regulations. I enjoyed a fabulous, inventive Blackberry Hot Chocolate. They kept a couple of the best staff people around, hired a few also promising looking new guys and just like that: they have left the other (even the newest arrival higher up the road) cafes back in the dust. Why only 4 stars? They continue to have the old furniture. The space never been assessed properly for the furniture they have. It continues to sport a haphazard interior design set up which does end up feeling chaotic in busy times. But overall: good to have you back in top form, chamomile! Now if we only could have a good restaurant...

Such a lovely cafe’, cakes are very nice, it has been in the area for quite a long time. Sich a shame we where treated very rudely by a man called Christian. I hope they improve in customer care as he made us feel very unwelcome with rude remarks on simple questions about the cakes or drinks.

EDIT

Further to the answer of Irit, I sadly find myself to downgrade the cafe' further. I am pleased to know that Christian has a fan club. This does not mean he did not behave rudely towards me and my partner as he did. From your answer I can understand you do not know how GDPR works, I do advise you educate yourself so as not to appear unprepared. As to the weird conspiracy theory you seem to write about, I sadly must inform you that to know the name of the man I simply asked, as I would of been sorry if other staff members took any blame for my review, that apart from letting you know the staff did not behave well, was actually quite considerate. Internet is a complex tool, you can receive praise or criticism. I do suggest though that as a business you learn to be more gracious and constructive towards the latter and your customers, especially when answering to a review. You certainly will not receive any more...

Let me start with the concept. A chef that's up and coming, is enabled with the facility to fulfill his or her dreams and have a restaurant to impress the public. Fantastic idea ! We were treated to the Greek odessey. The food was good. Not spectacular but good. Interesting, different and a nice experience. Our staff, big shout out to Lizzie who was our waitress for the night. Absolutely impeccable. Friendly, attentive and funny. Impeccable service. Callum the barman was great too and kept our glasses topped up and put up with us through the night. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and loved the concept of the restaurant . Will be intrigued to see what comes next and hope to return.

This is my favourite go to place for a snack, a full meal or just a coffee and some 'me time' I love the breakfast there so much I tend to order it in the late afternoon after work! The eggs taste like the proper thing as I recall from my childhood!and the tomatoes have a lovely sweet piquancy Such a great place to relax , unwind and enjoy a peaceful time surrounded by a gentle hubbub of the families, ladies who lunch and earnest business meetings! The service is wonderful... it's a home from home( without the washing up!) Highly recommended!

The best cafè in Primrose Hill. Cozy and welcoming inside, wide range of food and drinks to choose from and constantly delicious. This has been our favourite spot in the neighbourhood and let me assure you, it never fails to amaze us. The owner is always cheerful, funny and polite, and always find the time to have a chat with us and really make us feel welcome. Whether you're after breakfast, brunch, lunch or just a coffee, this is the perfect spot❤
