I just want to say a big THANK YOU to the staff that were working on Tuesday 4th Feb between 8pm - 1130pm. My nan organised a family dinner at this restaurant, and I brought my very young baby with me. The service/staff at this restaurant - 10/10. My baby is usually a very happy social baby Allahuma barik but unfortunately she was not well on the night of 4th. She was crying the whole time we were there. The staff were so accommodating and never even complained about me standing in their way as I was trying to calm my baby, they still continued giving us 10/10 service. They've also shown so much concern for baby and very kindly packed me food to go as I could not eat due to attending to baby. I feel like any other restaurant would have tried to rush us out of there due to our chaos. In terms of food - the food tasted so authentic and delicious. I have never eaten a spinach curry outside of home that tasted as homemade and authentic as the one we ate here. I also loved the chicken and the kebab from the starters. 10/10 food. The food to go that was kindly packed for me was huge help as we got home from A&E at 3am starving. I hope business is always successful In Sha Allah. Again - thank you so much to the...

Outstanding Food and Warm Hospitality – So Good I Went Back Twice!

Spice of Indian Cuisine truly impressed me. On my first visit, I had the poppadoms with a pickle tray followed by the lamb shank with coconut rice — it was absolutely outstanding. The lamb was tender and full of flavor, and the rice was perfectly cooked with a lovely coconut aroma.

The food was not only delicious but also great value for money. The chef clearly takes pride in the cooking, and it shows in every bite.

The staff were polite, friendly, and gave a very warm welcome. The atmosphere felt relaxed and inviting, which made the whole experience even better.

One of the best parts? You can bring your own alcohol, and there’s a shop right next door — no corkage charge at all.

I was so impressed, I went back again the next night. That alone speaks volumes. Highly...

Second visit to Spice of Haverstock. Went with the same order again as they made a very good biryani previously that my wife and I really enjoyed.

A delicious lamb biryani and tender chicken biryani that includes a generous portion of both rice and meat along with a vegetable curry that compliments the dish. I also requested a dish for my son and requested they make it slightly different to normal and this was not a problem for the chef and made perfectly. Thanks! Mild and tasty the little man enjoyed his food (Daal and roti) and completely cleaned his plate.

I'd be happy to frequent Spice of Haverstock on a regular basis as it's in the neighborhood and they maintain this level of service, not easy to find a good biryani.

Thanks and I wish you well with...

We live directly opposite and were delighted to see this new restaurant take over from the awful fast food place there before. The restaurant itself has been done very nicely and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We had a jalfrazi and a citron lamb dish recommended by the waiter which was delicious. Both tasted notably fresh, the meat was clearly good quality and it was not too oily as those kind of dishes can be in a poorer kitchen. It was a bit quiet inside and we too ordered to take away, but got some free goodies and very tasty dinner. All in all - a great addition to the neighbourhood and ***** HIGHLY RECOMMEND *****

The Spice of Haverstock does not disappoint. The food is delicious, tickles the tastebuds and dances in the belly. The mised grill and papadon starters are a great warmup, and Tiki Masala to finish it off. Everything on the menu looks great, and I will for sure be back. Mia, one of their waiters is super helpful, polite and welcoming. Check it out if you're in the area! Book in advance/ make a reservation for a discount (not sure how long the promo lasts)

They've just opened in the last couple of months and we were there on a Tuesday evening, so not many people, but, we had a fantastic meal. The food is Indian. It's not greasy at all. The flavours are perfect and the spicing was to everyone's preference. They don't have a licence at the moment, so we brought wine and beers. If we lived locally we'd be straight back. Also, perfect for gluten free; just avoid the naan bread and you can eat everything else!
