This hotel is a mixed bag of feelings! Plus: - it is smaller than other comparable hotels nearby, less rooms, so not so crowded. - rooms are acceptable, but with pretty old furniture. - there is a functioning AC system in the room which actually works (in comparison to other hotels)! - there is a minibar that works - beds were of decent size and quality - I haven't had any issues with room cleanliness Minus: - located on a very busy road, with constant traffic; there is a bus station just in front of the hotel - I specifically asked for a quite room - mine was facing the main street; upon complaint, I was given a second room, and while I was away, they moved all my stuff and offered me a 3rd room (facing the main street again), without asking. After a long heated debate, I was finally given a 4th room. - breakfast is rather mediocre, not much to choose from, no real bread available, only buns (they ran out of them one day, response was "not available"), toast and croissants; cutlery was dirty and simply thrown on a plate, much like mikado sticks, cheese and ham were on a plate, covered with foil, so you meeded to get it from underneath, only filter coffee available, with cold milk - reception is totally and completely INCAPABLE of preparing and issuing invoices according to customer's wishes. In my case, they mixed business (accomodation) and private positions (breakfast) in the same invoice. Even after asking a couple of times, their response was it was not possible. - I got a call from reception literally in the middle of the night that I haven't paid the accomodation yet (it was the first night out of many)! I guess the receptionist expected me to come down and pay the bill at midnight! Hotel is in desperate need for renovation! Cannot recommend it! 👎

Honestly, terrible. We checked in, there was no plug, one of the TVs didn’t work. A plug got bought, we were then told on the tv can’t be fixed. There was also stains all over the floor. Which was just gross. Also hairs in the bed although the sheets had been cleaned. The bed lights didn’t work either, and the curtains were falling apart. Also the service was beyond bad. We went downstairs for breakfast (we paid for English breakfast) and asked ‘can we sit anywhere’ ‘yes’ the lady a the bar said. But there was no visible menus, the food area was empty with a table next to it, then there were some tables with bread and cereal on. We were told breakfast starts at 7am (we only had until 7:30am so 30 minutes was plenty of time). But there was nothing English about the English breakfast. When we spoke to reception they told us we can go get it it’s ready now, but we were checking out, they refused to refund us, which is weird they said ‘you’ve already eaten some breakfast’ we ate a bowl of cheerios and a piece of toast, I’m pretty sure (I know it’s London) it shouldn’t have been £15 for cereal and bread. Overall the service and room was terrible, I’d recommend sleeping outside rather than in.

Experience in bullet points Utterly disgusting as a experience Not acknowledged at desk when entering Dirty carpets Mattress was sinking Sockets were damaged Smelling room Lighting was flickering Iron wasn't working Staff unhelpful when it came to sorting room. Parking rubbish Basically operating there service based on demand, if there is demand they give you service of low quality....this was based on the desk telling me that the room is cheap it would be much higher if there was a concer so I should be greatful think his name was carlos....he offered free breakfast to compensate I said yes.... I asked him please let whomever is taking over your shift in the morning what has happened... went to breakfast wasn't allowed to eat.... I know the staff are not responsible for maintaining the the building and they are just there to put their head down and follow orders. But come on this wembley with a new outlet, new developements, with people bringing you nonstop business so you got to do better.... Just remember during the pandemic the hospitality industry was down, and now the demand is back the offer subpar services, I should of gone holiday inn opposite

I recently stayed at the St Georges Hotel in Wembley and I must say, it was a disappointing experience. From the moment I checked in, it was clear that this hotel is nowhere near the level of quality that you would expect for its price and it being a “4 star” hotel. The rooms were outdated and poorly maintained. The service was lackluster, with staff members seeming disinterested and unresponsive to guests’ needs. Overall, my stay at St Georges Hotel was far from enjoyable, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant lodging experience.

We made a reservation for two rooms. Below are two positives and a list of negatives of our experience:

Good – Location, Clean Bathroom

Bad -Iron didn’t work properly and burnt our clothes -Toilet door wasn’t working and neither was the lock -Air condition broken in room 1 and not working in the 2nd room we were moved into -No bath plug and had to ask for it twice and then the receptionist was rude in saying and I quote “ ok ok ok you asking too many things” -Issue with devices connecting to TV in one of the rooms -WiFi password not given -Moths in the room -No soap in the toilets until 2nd day -Very dusty for asthmatic -Lights turned off automatically -Bedsheets smell wasn’t pleasant -The room we were given felt like a prison and detention camp, it was dark no proper windows, air condition not working and making sounds the room felt claustrophobic -There was a massive window in room 2 but no view and was misted -Both our room cards stopped working randomly and we had to go down to reception to reset.

I don’t usually leave reviews but as this is a “4 star” hotel it certainly didn’t feel or look like one and is NOT as advertised. Overall, my experience at St Georges Hotel Wembley in September 2023 was far from satisfactory. I would strongly advise looking elsewhere for accommodation if you are...

First the good bit, the hotel was clean, really near to Wembley Stadium where we were seeing a band.|The room we eventually got was comfortable and the bathroom was amazing very clean, albeit I’m sure I could smell a faint cigarette smell in the air.|Despite our room being on the front of the hotel the windows drowned out most of the city noise and I slept well open the comfortable crisply clean bed. ||Breakfast was very good, we ordered continental and there was plenty and all freshly prepared, we didn’t order a cooked breakfast but the other diners cooked breakfast looked amazing.||The bad bit, we had to pay a deposit of £50 refundable after we had left in case I’d damage, I understood that, we got offered room 210, as soon as we arrived in our room we had to go back down as the kettle was missing, we didn’t want them to assume we had stolen it and keep our deposit, on returning we noticed a loud constant ticking in the room, coming in from the air con unit outside the room, we packed up and went back down because I cannot sleep in a noisy room, the receptionist was on an extremely long call and there was no one else to help.||Eventually he got to us and gave us a key to a different room, when we got to the new room we went in and came face to face with a young man who was occupying the room, and horrifying for him he was sitting naked on the end of his bed. I cannot believe the reception staff could do that to all of us.||He looked for a long time and eventually found an empty room for us, a cancellation, it was a nice room but we wasted so much of our evening trying to sort that out.||The bar was closed, it would have been nice to stop for a drink before going out or coming back but I guess, even if it was set up as a bar it was only for breakfast use in the...

Looks nice when you first arrive and in photos, although once you try use any of the facilities there is something wrong with each and every thing. Paid ÂŁ60 for 1 night and had many issues.

Unhelpful receptionists, asked for a remote for the bathroom tv as we didn’t even have one and he said he’d bring one up, called back 1 hour later and he said we’re fully booked we don’t have a spare I’ll check in an hour… nothing back.

The room was damp, dusty, floors were stained, walls had marks and hand prints all over them.

Lights flickering and not operating in the room and bathroom, deluxe bed was just 2 singles pushed together, not comfortable at all.

Air conditioning wasn’t working in the room and we was boiling hot throughout the evening until I had to call and get the receptionist to operate it from downstairs. Buttons on one side of the bed didn’t work at all and the sockets were clearly damaged and was a pain to even charge my phone. Side lamps didn’t work at all. Bathroom door didn’t lock or close properly and it looked like it had been damaged beforehand, lights for the bathroom wouldn’t turn off, switch not working.

Terrible parking facilities, limited space and the only available bay had swept up dirt left on it. Staff left bags piled up by the exit so I had to get them to move them out the way so I can drive along out of the premises. All these little things which shouldn’t be the case let it down for me. Seemed unprofessional. And unsatisfied with the money I spent on this place.

The place looks nice it’s just once you start using it you realise what’s wrong with the place, it’s a shame because if the facilities were fixed and the staff were properly trained, this could be a great hotel but I’ll stick to Preimer Inn as you’re guaranteed things work as...
