We booked a double room and a single room for a concert. When we arrived, we had the code for the lockbox for the double room but not the single room. We tried ringing but no answer, so resorted to messaging, eventually we heard back and was given the code. I feel it would be helpful to know ahead of time where your rooms are located, as we just kept walking to each floor until we found them.
Both rooms were nice, fridge in the bigger room with complimentary water which was very much appreciated. The rooms were incredibly warm, so we had to have the fan on alot. Unfortunately we couldnt get the tv in the bigger room to work but it wasn't really an issue as only needed the room as a place to sleep. Unfortunately, all three of us found the mattresses very uncomfortable and rock hard, which made sleep difficult.
In the morning we met Yog, who was very friendly, when I mentioned the mattresses he said they had been changed a week ago and would soften with use, however, with how hard the mattresses were I am not sure that will be the case. The garden area was lovely to relax in when we got up in the morning.
Overall, they were nice rooms, Yog was friendly, and the location was ideal for where we needed to go. Unfortunately for me, the bed let it down. I would consider staying here again, however, would want some reassurance that the mattresses weren't as hard...
Read moreAs welcoming as the team here are, they have gotten the priorities wrong in many aspects. The focus seems to be on 'cool' decor (such as blue coloured lights everywhere) and over-the-top hospitality (bringing cups of 'tea' up to the room without us actually asking for one, which in fact turned out to be coffee).
What they really need to be focused on is the function of the room for a comfortable stay. Although the beds are comfy, there is no air conditioning, and so the window had to be open. There was also a sky light in the room, which had no blind on it. We had to get the owner to come in and put a black sheet over it so that we wouldn't be blinded at 6am when the sun came up.
As much as I appreciated that he came and did this, and apologised profusely, the fact it was missed at all when designing the rooms was a glaring error. The water pressure in the shower is also poor, and there was no remote for the TV either. These things just all added up to a stay that looked good on paper, but didn't feel as comfortable as it should have done.
Also, unless you completely lock the door in the room, the door just swings open, as the...
Read moreMy husband and I had an emergency and need a place to stay for a night. This place was conveniently close enough and, judging by the photos and reviews, seemed like a good option. Well, no.
In my opinion, a room without its own air conditioning system for one to control the temperature is too old school.
What bothered me the most were the thin windows that allowed all types of noise from the very busy road right in fromt of the rooms. Sirens, buses, motorbikes, everything was heard throughout the night. The noises coming from the inside were also loud, such as steps and doors caresslessly being shut (why can't people just gently close their doors in hotels??).
We didn't need any space for suitcases or storage for our clothes, but if you are travelling with all your gear, there is no wardrobe in the room.
The smell was also off-putting. It might have been those cleaning sprays with flower scents, but honestly smelled more like pee... Scents are somewhat complicated to have so strongly in rooms, in my opinion.
The bed was comfortable and so was the side of the room.
All in all, too expensive for what...
