People who say that money can't buy you love haven't tried a cake from Casey's. I'm picky about practically everything in my life. I like to think this makes me idiosyncratic rather than annoying but the jury's out. Casey's makes the best espresso in Hackney and yes, I know that's a bold claim, but I've drunk a lot of coffee & caffeine & me are old friends. If you're so bold as to combine the coffee with a cake or cookie then you're on your way to making one of the best decisions of your life. I've eaten my way through most of the menu & there's nothing there I wouldn't sell my dog for (joke: I'd never ever sell my dog but you get the gist.) Shout out to the chocolate brownies who got me over my last heartbreak, & the granola bars, which I kid myself are somewhat healthy (they can't be, far too delicious). Caitlin, as well as being one of the nicest people in the world, runs the joint & does most of the baking. She has the kind of chef skills that would make Gordon Ramsay promise never to swear again, but you don't have to believe my superlatives - get down there & try the goodies yourself. They also do toasted sandwiches (amazing) and occasion cakes for that special someone in your life (still waiting for Bumble to come through for me). Do yourself a favour and pay Casey's a visit. You...

Which where still fresh but the extra care she took to get the one just been made was highly appreciated 😍Love it ! If you come near by must visit ! Definitely...
Read moreTruly the apple of Clapton’s eye. Caitlin has worked tirelessly to create a sanctuary at the end of the oft tumultuous and risky streets of Clarence Road. It may only be a micro-café, but the quality, service and charm are plentiful. As the world crumbles around us and roads of spiritual resolution remain forever arduous and unrelenting, let Casey’s into your life, a true bastion for hope...
