We weren't overly impressed with our stay here, although it is in a good location and has the potential to be a sweet and cosy place, it needs some improvements. Although clean and tidy we found the room to be a little sterile. We understood that there was a kitchen which was clean and had many facilities, but we weren't advised that it would be locked after a certain time, leaving us and another guest without the access we needed. We weren't impressed with the reception we received on arrival and departure. There appeared to be some confusion on arrival and we weren't happy with the tone of the proprietor which was accidentally overheard by us. This was not acknowledged and there was no apology given. When we were leaving, I was interrupted by a knock on the door telling me that check out was at 10:30, again the tone was not appreciated as I felt like I was being told off and given my orders. When I explained that I thought check out was at 11, she repeated that it was at 10:30 and would give me a few minutes. I double checked and it clearly stated downstairs that check out was at 11 and I wasn't ready. This was not acknowledged and we yet again found her approach unnecessary and confusing. We have been coming to Southport for a number of years, staying in different places. We have now found the perfect place to stay. It is the perfect location for every thing you need to do. It has free parking. It is nipping clean. It is very comfortable and cosy. They have thought of everything from providing a mat when you step out of the shower ( I usually have to take my own) to a spray air freshener in tho loo 😂. You can use the kitchen if you can be bothered to cook, it has outside seating to people watch and relax. The room is great with comfortable beds, fridge, plenty of storage, shower that does not change temperature and they even provide heat if you get cold or a fan if you get too hot. It definitely ticked all the boxes for us. We were a bit reluctant as it is so inexpensive so dont be put off by the price. Will certainly be back and will certainly recommend. Thankyou...

I cannot say anything to be fair, The bed was so comfy and the pillows oh my you sank into to them so it was as though you was on air, Everything in the room worked me and friend stayed for 2 night but spent 3 days there, The little lights and like shelf underneath really made it feel so nice, I liked the pictures in the room, I'll have to ask my friend what number room but I would definitely be staying again when I get chance to, The owner shown us to our room and everyone that even came to stay was really friendly, For the 1st time staying in Southport I honestly cannot say a thing to fault...
