Upon entry, we were immediately greeted by a friendly sales associate (we aren't sure of her name but she was great at orienting us to the sales floor!) and then were introduced to Nagendra, who we worked with the rest of our time at the store. The experience started with a test of firmness on traditional spring mattresses (hard, medium and soft) so that Nagendra knew what we preferred. We then tested a hybrid mattress in our preferred firmness where he explained how adjustable bases worked and their benefits. After that, we were introduced to the Tempur-Pedic line (almost exclusively memory foam) and walked through the different models available in our preferred firmness. Nagendra and other associates in the store were amazing about answering questions and explaining how different models of mattresses and bases compared to each other. We did end up testing out a model that Nagendra hadn't pointed us to and were very pleased with his explanation of the brand and the pros and cons it would provide us with based on our preferences. I assume this is not the same path everyone would take, as we were asked other questions about how hot we sleep, if we have body pains, if we have sleep apnea/snoring, our budget, etc. We ended up buying a bed and base, able to be delivered within 48 hours if we wanted, and received a great deal due to the Labor Day weekend sale on offer. Mattress Firm is able to provide a price match based on any brick and mortar or online store, and we qualified for 0% financing for 5 years. They also added on a bundle of high quality sheets and pillows for an additional price, which could be unhelpful for some, but we appreciated as we are significantly changing mattress sizes. We are extremely excited to receive our new mattress and if we end up not liking it within 4 months, can return it! I would also like to add that we were never the only people in the store and saw that nearly everyone who entered left having purchased something. Read moreI recently requested help with breaking down my king sleep number ilE to get ready for a move recently retiredfrom the Military. This service I was told they would have some packing materials because I did not have them nor did I know the sizes I would need for them to pack the bed up with. They charged me $250.00 to pull the plug, that I already did for them before they got here. They did take the leggs off the bases, that really did not need to be done and released the hoses ok this was needed. The mattress was not fully taken apart like it was the last time they moved me here for Military orders. I was instructed by the said supervisor that I would have had to have the bag already in hand for the workers to put it in the bag for me. He will no longer be sending anyone out to pack the mattress even if I got a bag. I told him I did not have the sizes they needed to put it into a bag when I asked for this service. They should have been more clear that BAGS can be purchased on Amazon or through Uhal before technicians arrive. They are very unprofessional and broke my clothing wrack that laid my bed against. I am only a 5'5" girl trying to move from Washington DC to Indiana. I dont have help and I could have used more assistance with this especially since it cost me $250.00. Now, I am out of they money and will have to try and bag this bed up the best that I can by myself. Thanks for NOTHING Sleep number your beds are not worth the hassle when moving across country. You should have a better policy on the "Moving" expenses apart of your service. It should come with a bag already for this service....
Read moreNot gonna lie, I got a matress but the lady who helped me was low key rude and dismissive. I came in to try some mattresses out before I purchased one online, I had a strick budget. The lady working kept pausing her phone call to come help us and or take us to mattresses. Finally when I settled on one she insisted that she could help with the sale. I know they get some kind of bonus so I said why not. She kept trying to add stuff onto the price when I kept saying no. Then explained to me how delivery would work, they would bring the new matress and take the old one. I decided to drop down to a standard model instead of an HD version because the final total fell out of my budget. She tried to tell me the model was discontinued when It clearly said on the website I could order it. She insisted it was just the HD version and I doubled down asking why could I order it online then. She got annoyed and magically was able to order the one I wanted. Then told me after I paid for it that it would come in the mail???to an appointment complex?? I tried to ask her about it and she just smiled and didnt really explain much just said direct shipping is different. I didnt get a warranty because I thought it was being delivered to me on a scheduled date and not delivered in the mail. I would have gotten the warranty if i knew that.
