Frank Mann Field at Four Mile Run Park is okay for baseball, but the field drastically needs to have a type of French Drain type system added to it which would, or could, potentially pull water off of it. As it is, now, left field becomes a virtual wet quagmire when it rains. Prior to the Aces playing on the field in 2008, there were busted sprinkler heads, bent pipes pointed towards the outfield, an exposed cement sewer cap in centerfield, and very small antiquated dugouts, a rickety built press box, and bleachers that sat 2800 and were not ADA-compliant. Read more4 Mile Run Park is a decent neighborhood spot if you’re looking for a casual outdoor area to walk, bike, or get some fresh air. The trails are nice enough for a quick jog or a peaceful stroll, and it’s dog-friendly, which is a plus. There's a mix of open green space that connects to other trails, which is convenient.
That said, the park could use some maintenance in spots, there’s occasional litter, and some parts of the trail feel a bit worn down. It’s not the most scenic or well-kept park in the area, but it gets the job done for a quick walk/exercise....
