I have been a member at Club Studio since March 2025, and before that, I was a member at the Tyson’s location since July 2024. Unfortunately, despite my commitment to your gyms, I had a disturbing experience on September 1st. While I was in the stretching area, a much larger male member (approx. 250 lbs) deliberately bumped into me and then threatened me, saying that if I kept looking in his direction, I would “find out what he would do about it.” He repeated this two times. His words were clearly meant to intimidate me and make me feel unsafe and he absolutely made me feel scared and unsafe.
I immediately reported the incident to the front desk, with a witness confirming what happened. Despite the clear threat, staff allowed this man to continue his workout and refused to suspend or remove him.
Instead of addressing the seriousness of the situation, two managers minimized and dismissed it: • Richard excused the man’s behavior, saying, “He’s a really nice guy, maybe he’s just having an off day.” • Juan A. told me I was “inappropriately using the stretching room for conversation.” • Juan A. also said the man was “willing to shake hands and move past it,” and since I wasn’t willing, they wouldn’t take further action.
I was also told that because there is no audio recording of the threat, it’s just “he said, she said.” This completely ignores the fact that threats and intimidation, especially in a fitness environment, should be taken seriously regardless of audio.
Because of the response from management, my young female friend and I both decided to quit the gym the next day. This experience left us feeling unsafe and unprotected in a place where members should feel secure. I strongly caution others - especially women -about how little this location values safety when members...
Read moreFor a gym claiming to be "high end" and "luxurious," Club Studio Arlington sure leaves a lot to be desired.
Firstly, there is much room for improvement for the gym operations. The changing rooms are constantly out of tissue paper, the showers have a drainage issue, the water pressure is weak, the water does not get hot, and the handicap shower stall has a nasty smell. On top of that, one of the bathroom stalls is now out of service, and during rush hour, there is a line to use the bathroom.
On the gym floor and in the class studios, I have observed that the cleaning wipes have run out twice. Apparently the operations manager does not know how to order enough supplies to properly stock a busy gym?
Secondly, the order of classes in the Sweat+ studio should be altered. The temperature in the studio is uncomfortably hot for the Yoga Restore classes since they always like to schedule it right after Yoga Flow (hot yoga). Multiple people have complained about how hot and unpleasant it is during class.
Thirdly, the instructors are a hit or miss. Some are better than others. I took a CS4 class where the instructor just stood in a corner and danced to the music, and in another case, a Pilates instructor just walked around the classroom drinking a Celsius while giving confusing instructions instead of demonstrating the exercises. In addition, we are told that photos/videos are not allowed during class, yet I see instructors post videos of themselves taking other classes on Instagram. Double standard much?
Lastly, I find it quite interesting that Club Studio only responds to five star Google reviews. Let's see if they have the balls to respond to...
Read moreSo far loving this gym! Allan was super helpful and gave me a great tour of everything in the gym. He got me signed up quick and easy! So shout out to him! Gym is clean and other gym goers do a great job of keeping it clean as well as their staff! Staff is overall friendly and helpful.
They offer a lot of equipment which is great- so far haven’t seen any equipment out of order except one but they den to have fixed it the next time I came. And a good quantity, I haven’t had to wait for anything so far- but to be fair I’m usually there around 6am or noon.
I will say this gym is on the pricier level however it’s worth it in my own opinion due to the many different class options and times. Pilates itself is $200 and again with that price you get an actual gym, pool (limited hours so be aware it’s not open the entire time the gym is open) and different types of classes (reformer Pilates, hot Pilates, stretch workshops, yoga, cycling, cs4 (like your HITT workout but intense), boxing, and rebound (trampoline). And if you get the recovery/ therapy included for after your workouts it’s nice and definitely relaxing. It includes hydro massage, theragun usage, and other cool recovery options. .
Sauna is great and fixed rather quickly if out of order (was out of order once but fixed within the next morning). Blow dryers are Dyson and the showers are stocked with shampoo and conditioner as well as lotion by the mirrors if I’m not mistaken.
Parking is validated...
