I am an interior designer and a regular customer at this location. I had an issue with a return that the manager on duty did want to resolve. I asked to speak with the store manager and she said she was the manager and above everyone there. I requested her DM phone number or corporate phone number and she refused. After I finished my return, I asked for a point of contact from someone above her and she came and finally gave me her storage manager name and the store phone number. She asked me to call the next morning to speak with the storage manager. The bottom line is that she did not resolve the issue, she was a manager and refused to give me her real title. She was refusing to provide me the corporate or her DM contact information so I could speak with someone about my concerns. This home goods is very nice in terms of selection and items. It’s best to go during the week in like a Tuesday or Wednesday. My only flaw with this location is the constant force of trying to get me to sign up with the credit card! The store manager literally would not leave me alone today and kept pestering me to get the credit card because I was buying quite a bit of stuff. After saying no for the 10th time she turns to her daughter/ worker and says I’m missing out on savings and it’s a shame trying to make me feel bad for not signing up for the credit card… the manager probably thought I was young and tried to pull one over on me but I held my ground. Perhaps this particular Home Goods is still finding its footing...the selection in comparison, to the Rockville or Tyson's location, is very slim pickings--perhaps a merchandise expert ought to visit this Crystal City location, the inventory could use a bit of personality.

Most sales associates are pleasant; Lee is one team member that I recall in particular, because she always has a beautiful gleaming smile and a "pleased to assist" attitude. A younger gentleman named John has also been a very resourceful individual during my frequent visits-- these two always make me feel more than welcome, I greatly appreciate that!
