As a worker of the Lanham store 1133 I wish that there would be more surprised popups at the store because the management does not schedule enough people for the night shift because it is a lot to do. He does schedule people for the night shift on a certain night but that's only for that night not for all the others in which we needed and we end up staying longer because we don't have the manpower. Especially when the management wants us out of there by a certain time and we end up going over. It is especially hard for me because I do not have a car yet and I depend on my mother or someone to pick me up and I can't tell them a time and then they end up sitting for 30 minutes or longer because we are not done. I think that management needs to consider this and I am not the only one who does not have a car and needs to depend on another form of transportation to get home. Also the customers put the carts just anywhere, they do not care. I do the carts whenever I am on the late shift and it is tiring, if we could somehow Charge for carts or we could make the carts lock when they leave the little brick entrance way. Also I am waiting for my dental plan a kicking I did not think it would take this song, I have 6 cavities and one of my teeth has cracked in 2 places in it hurts every time I talk or eat I just think that the waiting period for the benefits should be 3 months rather than 6 months because I really need this badly my mouth is hurting constantly. Also our manager likes to keep self check out closed because he says there's no one there to watch it but as cashiers we watch self check out even when we are cashiering people up. But the customers complained of the long lines and when he only wants to cashiers open and there's a long long line he doesn't want to open self check out which is Mind boggling to me because the customers wanted so why not open it for them it just seems like that's an excuse. We have had at least 5 or ten customers walk out without groceries because the lines were too long and they refuse to open self checkout. Read moreUsed to love shopping at LIDI at Northwood Shopping Center until I got hurt! A shelf fell on me in July of 2023. I was trying to get some popsicles and the freezer shelve fell out! I tell for help and no one came! I called for a manager and the cashier started thier was no one available! I told her that I hurt myself and showed and gave her the pieces that had fallen! She told me to write my information on a sales paper! I asked that no one is coming to make sure I’m ok! I was high on adrenaline so I left and went home! I realized that my shoulder and hand were hurting from jerking the shelf and it falling on me! I place frozen veggies to ease the pain of my should and my hand! A day went past and someone called me from I guess their legal team! He was not helpful! After a couple of days I realized the pains weren’t going away! I went to the doctors and received instructions! I also received medications and therapy which kind of put a wrench in my summer since I wanted to do somethings and enjoy the weather! I was getting ghosted by the gentleman and here and there I would catch him when I called and he would say he didn’t get information from me or other things that were already provided! Still have not found out about my case status! I was calling him weekly and never received a response until after new years when he stated my case was transferred to someone else which he never informed me about! Now I have been contacting this person since the beginning of this year and still have not received a response from her! It will be a year in a month! I think that customers should not have to worry about what happens if they get injured at a business ! When we are injured the company should step up and take care of the customer! Read moreI was at the location in Snellville. 3821 Stone Mountain Highway on Friday 9/10/2021 @ 2:30 pm. I was on a line but the cashier was having issues with the register and he said let's go over to the next register. No problem and the women that was in front of me went first and I followed her. This man comes up quickly and I said excuse me but I was next after the woman in front of me. Well he becomes irate and starts spewing profanities at me and then rams his cart into mine, I have a knee brace on my right knee because I'm recovering from surgery. I said to him what exactly is your problem?? He continues his nastiness and I call for a supervisor. I called the police and have filed a report because that sorry excuse for a human being does not have the right to go around ramming carts into other customers he hurt my knee. The supervisor said she couldn't do anything and if I was going to file a police report please inform them. Bottom line...just be careful out there.
