After visiting both Starbucks locations in Asheville, NC, I can confidently say that the warmth at Starbucks Biltmore Village, located at 40 All Souls Crescent, starkly contrasts with the cold and sterile atmosphere at this Starbucks on I-40 and Hendersonville Road.
At Starbucks Biltmore Village, I was greeted with genuine smiles and friendly conversation from the moment I walked in. The store exuded a cozy ambiance, with comfortable seating arrangements and a welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. The staff were not only efficient in their service but also took the time to engage with customers, making them feel valued and appreciated.
In contrast, my experience at the Starbucks on I-40 and Hendersonville Road left much to be desired. The atmosphere felt impersonal and devoid of any warmth or charm. The store layout was uninspiring, with minimal decor and a clinical feel that made it seem more like a fast-food chain, which of course it is, than a cozy coffee shop. The staff seemed more focused on rushing through orders rather than fostering meaningful interactions with customers.
Overall, the difference in atmosphere between the two Starbucks locations was like night and day. While Starbucks Biltmore Village radiated warmth and hospitality, the Starbucks at I-40 and Hendersonville Road felt cold and sterile by comparison. If you're looking for a welcoming and inviting coffee experience, I highly recommend visiting Starbucks Biltmore Village over the impersonal atmosphere of this location. If you're looking for a drive-thru go to the Starbucks at I-40 and Hendersonville Road. There's no drive-thru at the Biltmore Village location. The two stores are just a few blocks away...
Read moreTL/DR: The workers are amazing and they make great drinks, and recommendations for things when they're out of something (i.e. flavor pumps).
This Starbucks, like most places right now, is short staffed. I preface with that because the workers that are there are powering through orders and customers at warp speed, and are still very friendly. The whole team is working together so beautifully and respectfully, as if they they value each person individually and for who they are rather than just a worker in a machine. They have made the best of tech issues with their drive thru over the last few weeks as well, and have done what they can to get it back up and running. It's not just the convenience of the location on my way to work that will have me coming back--it's the hardworking people that make sure everyone is getting their orders as quickly as possible and as deliciously...
Read moreThis place needs an overhaul of new employees. Nearly everytime I’ve been to this locations drive thru someone very immature/unprofessional is taking my order/at the check out. Over half the times I’ve been to this location they’ve gotten the order wrong and they blame it on their “bad machine” outside instead of owning the responsibility or trying to make it right. Yesterday they had to redo my order 3 times… and I was asked to pay full price nothing was done to own their mistake. I don’t need a free drink, but at least own your part as a professional business. Not to mention all of the drinks are overly sweet and just not made the best like they should. Either way, avoid this location. Which is sad because they’re in a beautiful facility. Management needs to seriously think about who they hire here it’s ruining...
