During my recent brunch experience at Corner Kitchen, I had the pleasure of savoring their delectable chicken and waffles. The combination of flavors, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere made for a truly delightful dining experience.

Corner Kitchen, located in a historic building, exudes a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The charming decor, with its mix of modern and vintage elements, adds character to the dining space. The restaurant's commitment to preserving its historical roots while providing a comfortable setting is commendable.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the chicken and waffles. Corner Kitchen certainly knows how to create a tantalizing combination. The chicken was expertly prepared, featuring a crispy golden crust that gave way to tender and juicy meat. The waffles, on the other hand, were light, fluffy, and served with a hint of sweetness. The contrasting textures and flavors of the savory chicken and the subtly sweet waffles created a delightful harmony on the palate.

In addition to the fantastic chicken and waffles, Corner Kitchen also impressed with their attention to detail in other dishes. The omelettes, for instance, were bursting with freshness and flavor. The fluffy eggs enveloped a medley of vegetables, cheese, and herbs, creating a satisfying and savory delight.

One aspect that stood out during my visit was the exceptional service provided by the staff at Corner Kitchen. The waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were quick to offer recommendations and accommodate any special requests. The staff's warm and welcoming demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.

Corner Kitchen's commitment to preserving the historic charm of the building while delivering exceptional cuisine and service is truly commendable. The combination of delectable chicken and waffles, flavorful omelettes, and attentive staff creates an unforgettable brunch experience.

In conclusion, my brunch at Corner Kitchen was a delightful affair. The delicious chicken and waffles, coupled with the inviting atmosphere and outstanding service, left a lasting impression. If you're seeking a brunch spot that offers both mouthwatering dishes and a charming ambiance, Corner Kitchen is...

It can be hard to get into as tourists love this spot. The wait can be long during peak times, but it is definitely worth it! We made a reservation for the patio at 5:30 pm and secured a nice end table which was perfect as we dined with our 70# Doodle. The open air patio was very comfortable as the heaters were on. As the evening progressed and the sun goes down, Asheville air can turn very chilly. Then the motorized panels form a wall to block the chill to keep the patio warmer. This place never disappoints! Service and farm-to-table food are always on point! The chef started everyone off with a bite of his creation. Beautifully presented Cucumber slice with creamy Goat Cheese, Blueberry Balsamic and a microgreen. All of the flavors worked in this tasty bite. We selected appetizers of Scallops. My only regret was that I wished there were more! Very succulent and made more tasty with the thick, flavorful add of a small piece of bacon on top. The creamy sauce they floated in was not overpowering nor overdone. As I have become more serious about being gluten free, the menu had some great options. I have had the Pecan Encrusted Trout before and it is divine, but not gluten free. The menu states this can easily be made gf. The kitchen did a beautiful job with an herb seasoning. It complimented the rest of the plate beautifully & tastefully with the Mashed Sweet Potatoes and Browned Butter Green Beans. Gluten Free dessert was the Molten Lava Cake served with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream. We chose to share & I had planned to only take a bite, but it was too good to stop! Hubby was disappointed! Next time, I will opt for my own as it is a small dessert. Our server was fantastic in taking care of us and managing all her tables. Very friendly as well and accommodating in bringing a large bowl of water for our pooch. All the staff we interacted with at our table helped make this experience very pleasant. Highly recommended place but the secret has been out for...

This was absolutely a perfect brunch. The summer menu is divine. My husband and I shared the Watermelon gazpacho, and it was beyond my expectations. I am from Southern Spain, so I thought, ok, lets see what the twist is about. I'm so glad I did. The sweetness of watermelon was restrained so as not to overpower the traditional gazpacho cold soup but add an even more refreshing sensation on a hot summer day. The garnish with its small watermelon bits gave it a crunch and slight sourness that balanced the soup. It was the belle of the ball. My husband had the burger and the quality of the meat rose to the occasion with pickled red onions and a judicious amount of sauce that enhanced the burger without making it wet or about the sauce; hand cut fries with exceptional salt, yes please! I had the summer peach burrata arugula sald. Perfection with restrained candied nuts and arugula that was so naturally nutty that the balsamic glaze just worked perfectly. Drinks, superb, the espresso martini was delicious, and they made me a bailey's and cream for dessert that hit the spot. I'm not a dessert person, but everything was so good, we went for the dessert donuts with creme anglaise and berry jam. The donuts were light and had a perfect hydration level. I added a scoop of vanilla ice cream and thought... I should have dessert more often. Casual but sophisticated atmosphere and our server Josh deserves the highest accolades. Great service and superb knowledge of the menu. We made small requests like no tomatoes on burger, my own creation of dessert drink, and added ice cream to dessert. He accommodated us without skipping a beat. Charming, and he even gave us a small magic coin show at the end, natural born closer for sure. We lead a busy life, and being able to have brunch, where we wanted for nothing, was a refreshing change from Asheville's overly casual dining...
