Starbucks — Restaurant in Asheville

I got to this Starbucks at exactly 845pm. 15 minutes before closing. Both of the teenagers working had a nasty look on their faces to begin with. The male cashier stated that the espresso machine was being cleaned, so nothing with espresso could be made. He then said only tea and refreshers. (So, even though the espresso machine was the only thing not available, they weren't willing to make us regular coffee.) I said "I thought you closed at 9?" He said "the espresso machine is being cleaned." Obviously someone is cleaning the machine, and CHOSE to start cleaning it 15 minutes before you're supposed to close. If your hours are UNTIL 9pm, then you are expected to offer ALL items on your menu until closing time unless you specifically ran out of something. Good customer service is long gone these days. Not corporate owned Cashier was very nice, he was helpful and courteous. The lady making the drinks (tall blonde) I’m assuming was the owner was rude. Terrible service from the lady. She didn’t mark our cups and when we asked what they were she was nasty and rude. My cup was filled 3/4 of the way. One of our other drinks the taste m was off like she didn’t add enough of the concentrated syrup. We asked for a little bit extra for that one cup (we ordered 3 of the same) and she said it would be a charge?! Umm for something YOU did wrong? Yup…definitely not corporate. The poor cashier seemed embarrassed of her attitude. Lady….if you are reading this…here’s a tip, a career change would suit you. Maybe one not dealing w the public. Also, because they aren’t owned by Starbucks you don’t get Starbucks stars. To the guy- thank you! Get out of there, you are better...

So I walk in at 750 pm to shop I've been back in the country kess than 10 days. The kids running the place said they were closed. They were young boys and a hand full of girls just got thier orders coffee and pastry. I did my shopping with my wife walked out the exit door by the Starbucks and all the kids still hanging out. We live in Thailand and Starbucks there would never pill this nonsense! Unacceptable! I went to the staff and pulled up Google hours for this Starbucks it said till 9pm

The staff was rude and crude and I've been going to that Ingles since I was a teenager!

Unacceptable that this company and country can just make thier own rules.

I'll go back back to Thailand...
