Seriously rudest customer service I have ever gotten from an Aldi today. We made the first mistake, coming in, we accidentally forgot a buggy. There was an empty one in the store that we picked up and realized not long after that it was a store use buggy. No big deal we would be in and out and I would admit my mistake at the checkout line. The lady at the checkout line at register 2 around 11:15 am of 4/2/19 didn't greet me, smile or say anything. Second mistake we made was forgetting my wallet out in the car. Again, what I thought was no big deal. Apparently to her it was. When I apologized she ignored me and huffed and puffed. I know its an inconvenience and it was my mistake, that I apologized for. When I apologized a SECOND time she ignored me AGAIN and stared out at the line then called for help on the register. When my significant other walked back in with my wallet all she could say was "Is that him?!" and before I could even get a word out about the buggy she was very rude and said is that "YOUR buggy?" I admittedly said no and that we bought more than what we were expecting to get. She ignored me once again to say "well you need to bring that back!" in such a condescending tone I thought my own mother was berating me. When I went to walk out she yelled "Ma'am you HAVE to bring that back!" Like yes, I understand but I have to get my things to the car. How embarrassing!!! So rude, it makes me almost not want to come back. Yes I made my mistakes but there was NO understanding from a CUSTOMER SERVICE associate. These situations need to be handled better. It's embarrassing how...
Read moreOccasionally I need a more obscure grocery item and this is not necessarily the store for that. In all other grocery needs, Aldi is my top choice and I am willing to drive twice as far as my neighborhood grocery store in order to shop with them. They load fresh produce daily and easily best any other grocery store option on quality and affordability. I just left there today and spent $58 on what cost me $113 a week1 ago at my big-brand neighborhood grocer chain (whose name I won't mention.) Beyond their wide array of grocery options and competitive pricing, Aldi leaves the bagging of ones groceries up to the consumer. This is a plus people! There are zero single use plastic bags being dished out like our planet is in need of more trash and that is a GREAT thing. I have never encountered anything but friendly service and impeccable conditions. I also often find myself stumbling upon unique items that I may not choose to try because of hefty costs at competing grocery stores. I cannot say enough good about Aldi. Please open one...
Read moreCalled corporate two months ago after my husband and I were basically assaulted by the cashier mark. I asked if I could have my original buggy back because I wanted my quarter back because I realized I put one that was valuable. My husband began moving stuff from the buggy the cashier loved it back to my original so buggy and I explained why to the cashier. The cashier never even acknowledged me and proceeded to jerk the buggy from my hand and then he physically pull my husbands hands off the buggy and throw our items out of the cart in to the other one. As they scuffled for the buggy another employees came out and allowed us to have our original buggy. . In the parking lot many many customers told us we should call the police for assault and how rude he was. Corporate said they would look in to it and pass it on to the management. Instead they sent me a ten dollar gift card and the employee still...
