Clarke Crossing Shopping Center — Local services in Athens-Clarke County Unified Government

It was Veteran's day and Outback Steakhouse offered veterans a free Bloomin Onion and a beverage. I and my wife are veterans. I ordered a bloomin onion and a Coke Zero. My wife ordered the same thing. We were brought 2 Cokes and then 1 onion. I asked the waitress whose order she brought and she seemed confused. I gave my wife the onion and I waited for mine to be cooked. After we finished our meal I gave the waitress a twenty and asked for change for the tip. Since the onion and beverage were free I was expecting the full amount, but I was given $13. I was charged for the Cokes and was not given the check. I was wondering if the waitress wanted a tip. I reminded her that the beverages were included. She asked a supervisor and gave me the remainder of the money....

Never will I shop at Academy sports again. After spending well over $300 in their store yesterday in the parking lot I realized I left my phone. I had set my phone on a shelf so I could jump and reach a top shelf item as I couldn't get any assistance. When I went back in to retrieve it my brand new phone was gone and do you think the people who worked there would at least offer some assistance maybe an announcement over the intercome to return a found phone nope, or maybe running back the security camera footage so I can press charges against the thief not a thing so needless to say I returned everything that I had bought and I'm pretty certain it was one of the employees because I do have gps tracking...

It’s a shopping center with a myriad of different little shops and businesses. Most are in for Academy, your trusted sports equipment store. I enjoy Sakura a lot, been there a bunch of times with excellent memories with each. American Red Cross is there for those willing to donate blood, plasma, and or platelets. I could go on. The only notable downside is the quality of the pavement and the navigation of the Center… it can be hard to see around some corners, sometimes it seems like the roadway is one-way because of the emergency no-park zones. It’s unusually hilly, with a lot of dips and valleys for a Center...
