We didn’t leave a review previously, but since I’m looking to possibly need to book a room for an overnight stay for 2 upcoming doctor’s visits, I was reminded that I really needed to leave one (my apologies that I didn’t do it sooner). My husband and I (along with our 3 “fur babies”) stayed here “long-term” from 11/19/20-01/31/21 so that I could be close to my Neurologist and Neurosurgeon while I was recovering from a traumatic brain injury. The owners were EXTREMELY kind, our room was very clean (and our room was still detail cleaned by the owners each week), the bed was comfortable (they have new beds, unlike other places), the property was quiet and peaceful (there were several people in rooms that stayed here “long-term”), the outside property is clean and well maintained. My husband still had to work everyday and it gave him peace of mind knowing that they understood the situation and would “keep an eye out for me” while he was gone. Perimeter has been around a long time and is pretty much an Athens staple. It’s not “new or fancy”, but it is comfortable, peaceful, clean, and safe! Like they say, “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. We recommend them 1000% and we will FOREVER be extremely GRATEFUL for Perimeter Inn’s owners for everything they did for us during our difficult time. We TRULY appreciate both of you!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!! ...
Read moreWe went back to the Perimeter Inn for a birthday stay. Why stay at a more expensive place when you just want to spend a night or two?||||I can see spending more in Atlanta, which we did (about three times as much, I just realized!), to make sure you are in a secure location. But the place we stayed at in Atlanta, while very nicely appointed, could have two a squirt or two of bleach itself. There's always some little thing, if you look hard enough, that needs attention at ANY hotel.||||But the Perimeter Inn can always be counted on for a quiet, relaxing stay, for a minimum amount of money. And the lovely innkeepers will go out of their way, as noted in other reviews, to make sure you are happy. Thank you, Yogesh and family, for the best...
Read moreThe cleanliness of this place left much to be desired, with noticeable grime streaking down every wall, as if it hadn't been properly cleaned since the late 20th century. The bed was of such a state that I was hesitant to sit on it, and an overwhelming foul smell permeated the room. The stench in the room was so intense that it was hard to bear. Unfortunately, the TV was non-functional. I guess you get what you pay for, the room's poor condition and offensive odor suggested a value of oil less than what they charge you for a week here....
