Customer Service is not dead at the Athens HoneyBaked Ham Company ! I recently went in for ham by the slice at the end of the day but was told they were sold out as I visited during the busy Easter weekend. I was told to come back the next morning and they should have more prepared. The next morning I called before I left out, spoke with the owner who was one of the most sincere and genuine business owners. He stated how grateful he was for the business and apologized for not having ham available. When I arrived at the store, Matt (the owner) greeted me and we chatted about what his business philosophy is and the importance of an excellent customer service experience. He comped my ham. This was so unexpected and a true gift! I will return for lunch regularly to support this family business and gracious owner.

Honey Baked Ham is not only a great place to eat, but also the best catering in town. We ordered over 200 boxed lunches for an event at work, and they were so helpful throughout the whole process. This is our second year with them as our caterer for volunteer and presenter lunches. The customer service is exceptional, they have excellent communication, and the lunches are just delicious. I placed a catering order but there was a specific order for each person in attendance to my business meeting. They did each order customized as per request but also wrote each person's name on the box so I didn't have to sort through anything.
